I'm happy for SSlasher and will get more than one kit. Really like the old MPC kits glad they keep coming...

I'm really liking the Polyglas Tire pack, I wish Round2 would offer a pack of Crager Mags also that would be great! I know another company offers just the Crager Mags but if Round 2 would include them with the Polyglas tires or even just as standalone rims they would be a good seller for sure.

Coronet 500 is a snap kit around for several years I've built it and looks great when done. Moebius is now another option but the more kits - the better.

New kit at hobby lobby, I saw Revell Chevy Pull dozer on the shelf - if anyone is looking for this kit check your local store.

Having more promo style kits offered - would be great. Especially with several tire & wheel options and decals...

Testors Extreme Lacquer works great usually available at Hobby Lobby. Also Scalefinishes.com paints I used recently with great results; I did buy plum crazy but did not spray that particular color - yet. If you like airbrushing craft paint - some purple metallic colors are close, try looking at Hobby Lobby & Michaels. Auto paint supply stores offer paints in spray bombs, sometimes sellers offer on eBay also. Good Luck!

Ollie's strike again
P51Mustang replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I would check back again soon, my Oillies this weekend had Roadrunners in sealed cardboard boxes on a shipping cart that were not put on shelves, so they are still just getting them in stock. -

Wish round 2 would release some obscure stuff
P51Mustang replied to jeffp60's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
My obscure choices are: 1958 Desoto Adventurer, a full model kit. Also 1971-76 Firebird/Formula/Trans Am models in promo versions - would be great. -
Thanks To AMT For The New Technology Old Kits
P51Mustang replied to oldcarfan's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
It would be nice to have mid 1970's 2nd Gen Firebirds this would require only be changing out very few parts. Even if not totally correct using available interiors but having optional flat hood, formula hood and trans am, would be great. Also a MPC 1970 1/2 Trans Am/Formula/Firebird would be a big seller but not sure what it would take to make/create that kit. Thanks to Steve G for sharing info on this forum. -
They've gone up for sure, I've just paid $20 for the 1k clear at AutoZone. Up from $16 about 3 weeks ago...

Yes $29.99 is correct, I paid that as my hobby lobby is not nearby...

Found the AMT 71 Mach One Yellow at hobby lobby today. Bought it at no discount full price as I won't be going there for a while with higher gas prices....

Mr. Hobby Metallic Green (#77)
P51Mustang replied to rightrudder's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Mr hobby is lacquer and is great to use. My airbrush is used mostly for aircraft. For model cars I use duplicolor spray cans for primer, paint and 1k clear (Wet sand if needed but usually great results just from spray can ). Also sometimes tamiya spray paint for car bodies and rustoleum flat black for chassis. Though primer isnt required I do use duplicolor primer gray and white colors of depending color choice. Of course gray for dark colors, white for light colors to really pop. Try using duplicolor spray can primer, paint and 1k clear you will have great results. -
