  1. Nice work on the 56 Greg. This will be a pretty kewl ride.
  2. Nice build on the 49 Merc. I build one a while back.
  3. Nice looking Mustang. I like the fastback vs the coupe.
  4. I appreciate the kind words Bill. When I saw this color combo on a 1:1 truck I knew it was what I wanted to do.
  5. That's a good looking 61 Chevy Bubbletop. Yeah, I'd keep it as is for a reminder as meantioned.
  6. Nice looking color on the 69 Superbee.
  7. Great kit for your next build. I like your color selections.
  8. That's going to be a nice kit to build and I'm liking the green on the top spoon.
  9. Not really any bench time today but I did get the wheels straightened out. I originally just used a Molotow chrome pen on the inner caps that were made onto the wheels but it didn't look good to me. I ended up taking the stock Chevy hub caps that came in the kit and sanding the backside down as far as I could. I then glued them to the inner hub on the wheels. Looks much better. Granddaughters first basketball game tomorrow morning then off to our last 1:1 car show of 2023. The wife's birthday is on Sunday so no more bench time til next week.
  10. Thanks David. We'll see how they look once I get the bmf on.
  11. Good looking 53 Chevy.
  12. All the suspension and body work is looking Great Greg. That 3-Window Street Machine you found online has a nice color and setup. Is that the color your going for?
  13. This is going to be a nice build so I'm in for the long haul. I like the Olds 371 J2 with the 3 Rodchester carbs. Going to look pretty kewl.
  14. I'll bet it does feel good getting back to the bench. Nice little Street Rod to get back into the swing of things with. I'll be watching this build.
  15. The blue and white looks good.
  16. Oh yeah. Pretty kewl looking. That Alclad chrome looks super nice.
  17. Got a little work done this morning. The body has been wet sanded and polished. I finished the wheels and got a few other parts painted and ran into another problem. If you look, the sun visor is not the same shade of the gun metal as the cab. I've had this trouble with this paint before. Looks like I'll need to repaint the sun visor, dash, and running boards.
  18. Thanks David. I hear ya about the sun visor.
  19. Thanks for the info Carl. I replaced the chrome strip.
  20. Nice kit. Looking good so far.
  21. Thanks Buddy. Since I'm going with a straight 6 on this one I needed to do a little extra in the business end to make it stand out.
  22. Thanks for the info. Problem has been resolved.
  23. Oh yeah. Nice looking little work horse.
