Well....looks like I have one of the chrome trim pieces pop loose. I'll have to remake a new one today and see if I can get it in place without making a mess.

Thanks Kyle. After getting the clear on I noticed one of the front chrome stripes had popped loose. Now I've got a problem.

I found these pics online so I think I'll paint my running boards the Gun Metal like the cab is.

I had to fire up the heater in the garage this morning as it dipped down below freezing last night and got down to 29°. I got the clear shot on the body and also got some of the other parts painted. The interior is painted in a Satin Warm Carmel, inner fenders with a gloss black, and the interior tub with a Matt black.

Looking pretty kewl so far. Yup, that blue and white looks nice on the Scout and the stance looks fine now.

I like your 34 Ford Coupe Mario. Nice color. I built one a couple weeks ago as a A/G drag car but man they look good stock.

I'm liking this build. Great looking Gasser so far.

I'm looking at the sun visor this morning trying to make up my mind on what to do. The stock sun visor brackets are over sized and the sun visor is not wide enough looking at pics I found online. I like how the stock sun visor protrudes out much further than the other two so I may cut it in the middle and add piece of 3/32" stock to make the visor wider. I'm also going to try and modify the brackets to get them more to the correct size.
