  1. Thanks Dave. I wish I could have gotten it lower but everything just seem to bottom out.
  2. Thank you sir.
  3. Haha....guess I need to read a little before I post. Anyway I think you fella's got my meaning.
  4. Don't know about the shelf life but I guess at some point it will go bad as everything comes to an end sooner or later. I store mine upright in a jar and they seem to work fine for me. All I use mine on is dash knobs, handles, touch up on chrome where I have sanded, etc. No big areas. Personally I think the pens work fine for what I do.
  5. Thanks Ron.
  6. Everything is Looking good Michael. I use those Gelly Roll pens for touch up and like them.
  7. Thanks James. Yeah....I'm going to get after it on Monday and see what I can do.
  8. Thanks James. This is what I use.
  9. I do appreciate it man.
  10. Got a little work done on the 29. I ended up cutting off the flange for the exhaust pipes and painted the headers a base white.
  11. Mark, I wasn't meaning anything bad about your truck so I hope you didn't read it that way. Just looks like that bottle of BSI is setting in the bed of the truck. Looks kinda kewl.
  12. Thanks for the suggestions Bob. Working on my 29 Roadster today but Monday I'll get back after it again.
  13. That Daytona looks like its fell on some hard times. Really like the diorama. Great job.
  14. Thanks for the info. From one Bob and one Vet to another, guess I'll just have to play around with the new and old to find something that works.
  15. Nice looking Cruiser. That body shined up pretty good for being straight out of the box. Nice looking build.
  16. Nice looking. That red really looks nice. I like the rain drops. Looks like it's on the track awaiting a rain delay for the start of the race.
  17. Yeah that's diffently a looker in my eyes. That color is really nice and the chrome.....man does it have a shine. Nice job Mario.
  18. Man oh man did that paint job turn out nice. Love the old school flames. Looking really good so far.
  19. Yup. Its the new stuff. The old stuff I have has wrinkles in it.
  20. Lots of good Info fellas. Thanks.
  21. Well....I got after the foil work again and I think my luck has ran out. IT WILL NOT STICK. I tried cutting pieces from various section off the sheet and none of it wants to stick. The A pillar's and around the bottom of the front glass is basically just setting there. I pulled a sheet of the other I had and it stuck a little better but it's all wrinkled looking. Not sure what to do at this point.
  22. I'm getting really close to putting the body on for the last time. Had a little trouble with the firewall staying in place so had to clamp it for the rest of the day. I'm going to dread getting the rest of the foil work done.
  23. Thank's much Ray.
  24. Thanks fellows. Greg, I have the 66 Nova chassis in the pics. I'm looking to do just what Roger explained in his post. I've got the AMT 60 Ford Ranchero I'd love to put some big ol meats on.
