  1. The stance looks pretty kewl. That's a lot of muscle under the hood. Nice work.
  2. No models listed in the current flyer from Ollie's around here.
  3. Looks like he's dieing to get this one running. That ol boy just missed to many meals.
  4. Thanks for those pics Tom. That is one tuff looking 61. That's the looks I had in my head. You guys got me to thinking now and that is dangerous. I have a 66 Nova Pro Street that is already set up. I may be able to cut the back half off and graft it onto the 61. I need to think about this for a while.
  5. Just and update for everyone. The two replacement windshield frames that I recieved from Revell were both to warped to use. I sent Revell an email asking for two more replacements and have not heard anything and that was back in late September. Doesn't look like Revell is going to stand behind their product. I don't expect to here back from Revell. It's a shame that a company want's you to buy their product but they won't stand behind the quality.
  6. Great looking Charger. That color just pops. Nice detail work on the business end.

  12. Yeah now that's an old school Hot Rod. Looks like I could get in and drive down the main drag with one arm out the window and one hand on the wheel. Awesome job.
  13. Thank you for the kind words Mark. I think it turned out pretty good.
  14. Thanks Tim. I prime everything with Rust-Oleum 2X flat gray. This was the first time I used FolkArt because My normal brands (Anita's & Ceramcoat) didn't have the colors I wanted. I thin the acrylic paint with Windex 50/50. I'm using a Paasche H airbrush and set my air pressure at 25 psi with a working pressure of 20 psi. I will shoot about 5 coats of paint letting it dry between coats which is only about 5 min in the summer time. After that sets for 24 hrs I clear it with Rust-Oleum acrilic lacquer. 2 light coats and 2 wet coats letting it flash 20 min between coats. I'll let that cure for 48 hrs then wet sand and polish with Novus 2. This is the process I came up with that works the best for me so far. It may not be the best way but its all I have for now. Its still a work in progress. Hope this helps.
