  1. Great looking little Woody. Nicely done.
  2. Everything is looking nice Jim. Looks like its going to be nice and low. How do you get those good looking 45 degree cuts on the frame?
  3. Welcome aboard Thomas.
  4. Yeah....I try to get as much done when I have the time. Car show tomorrow so no modeling.
  5. Wife and I went Ollie's today to by an area rug. While checking out I ask the cashier if they sold model car kits. She told me they normally get a lot of kits in closer to Christmas and keep an eye on their flyer. Ill be keeping an eye on their flyer.
  6. Looking good so far Tom. That pic of the 1:1 that your getting your ideas from looks sweet. This should be a nice build.
  7. I've done that. Now I hold the exhaust flange in place and mark with a Sharpie where I need to drill. Yeah....that's looking Bitchin James. I like the color and the engine looks bad ass.
  8. Nice looking Funny car. A 1/4 mile of fun. The detail work on that sucker looks really good. Side by side with another Funny car......now that's a drag race.
  9. Thought I would get the distributor drilled out and the wires glued into the distributor before I called it a day.
  10. Looking at the front suspension I can't get it any lower unless I cut into the Wheel wells where the black lines are. So, the mock up I did is about as low as it's going to get.
  11. Ok....just did a mock up and it's a little hard to hold the pieces in place but it looks like I'm going to need to remove at least an 1/8" from the rear coil springs to get the ride height in the rear like I want it. I'm going to start out with 1/16' and steady as she goes ☺
  12. The wheels and tires are from the Revell 56 Ford pickup (Foose). They are staggered and worked well on my 60 Chevy pickup as well.
  13. Super clean. The purple stuff
  14. Thanks man
  15. John that is some really nice looking foil work. It reallly makes the red stand out even better. Those wheels & tires look fitting for the 40 Ford. Nice looking so far.
  16. Interesting conversation. For me....although I have never measured my concoctions I would use the little plastic measuring cup that came on the cough medicine bottle to get it close when I first started airbrushing. I don't even do that anymore. If you have any time behind an airbrush you just know when it is right. Once you start spraying you'll know if it's not right. Just my 2¢ worth.
  17. What a kewl looking little Altered drag Bug. The faded in paint job looks pretty sharp. Nice job.
  18. Good looking Camero. Man that thing has some serious HP on the business end. The blue wheels against the silver body really make a statement. Nice job.
  19. Really well done and the colors look fantastic. I like the swamp cooler. Looking forward to the 51 Henry J that's coming out next month.
  20. I appreciate the comments Dave.
  21. I love the old fat fender cars & trucks. Job well done on both. Dad's yellow is really eye catching.

    Camaro 69

The iconic 69 Camaro. They never get old and you did a nice job on this one. Love those wheels & tires.
  23. Nice look. Great job on the build. Can't go wrong with black and tan interior. I use a lot of the Tamiya Buff for interior.
  24. Nicely done. The red and white combo looks as it should. I see this kit all the time at HL but never have bought it. I prefer the 65 & 66 but after seeing yours I may have to get one. Great job.
