That is goinig to be a nice build there Roger. I built two of these kits, the AMT 5- Window Coupe and the Revell 3- window Coupe and they both had poor fit issues with the roof. I really like the 35/36/37 body styles. I'll be watching the one.

I'm going to shoot the 2K Clear on tomorrow so I thought I'd better check out the paint for any issues. I've had this happen before with red paint but didn't see this when I painted the body. The didn't seem to get down in the gaps or it pulled away. Boy oh boy...it's got me worried now. I'm hoping the black panel liner will cover it up.

I was searching through the stash for a nice kit to build and came across this old Revell kit. I'm going to see if I can't pull of a nice build but some things about this kit already concern me. I don't like painting white, the decals are old (1991), the parts in the kit are not of good quality. I started with the BIG ole meats trying to save them as they look pretty rough.

Wowser....Great looking pics there my friend. Ya just can't beat a red 57 Chevy. Nice looking build.

I got some paint on the interior ( Satin Charcoal Grey ) and got the glass installed in the headlight buckets. After this drys I'll need to hit the rear speakers with some black for the base and silver for the mesh. I'll use a Molotow Chrome Pen for the door and window cranks on the door panels.

I had a good day so thought I'd better get after it and throw some paint on the 37. Paint is Tamiya Maroon. I'll let this set for a few days and then airbrush some Splash Paints 2K Clear over it. I'm really pleased with how the paint laid down.
