  1. Has anyone noticed on a nameless auction site that pre-orders are being taken for this kit a $120 bucks? Is the kit gonna retail for near that once available? If so I may rethink getting one let alone the several I was thinking about getting. Just curious.
  2. Maybe that is for doing the "shine" runner version!
  3. About the only 4 banger back then was in Jeeps, Nash Rambler and the Henry J which was gone by 54 I believe.
  4. Maybe Academy will release the Daytona they have proposed!

  7. A little info on Pantera kits The Testors kits are ex Gunze kits, the Marui kits are Marui kits. The Airfix kit is an Edai kit, the Entex kit is very small for 1/25. I do not know the origins of the Arii or Nichimo kits plus the have been a few 1/28 slot body models made into kit form.
  8. Lets not forget Revell's Porsche Speedster! Which when built up looks good!
  9. Interesting that no one mentioned 29' Model 'A' pick up.

  16. A very good friend and fellow modeller and founder of the Meet & Greet Model club of Grand Rapids MI. passed away Sat. the 9th. He always offered up his home for us for meetings a build and bull sessions along with several 24hr builds. He was always willing to help another guy out. Good Bye my friend may you now be able to walk among the heavens and hopefully put in a good word for the rest of us.
  17. Then you could set up a Z scale train inside!!
  18. You might try your local auto body paint supply place and have them make you a can it is 1963 code E it is a little pricey but it is right. It is also known as Acapulco blue.
  19. Their military kits also bite the big boewanna!
  20. It comes with the Flattie and a rendition of an FE engine. The wheels are dependent on the issue! for the most part they all seem to have the stock wires and usually but not limited to 4 slot mags, one issue had a set of Cragar Pro-Tech wheels also some have had 5 spoke Cragar style wheels. Just from what I have seen. Also the rear suspension is separate with a stock or 9" Ford and the frt. has a choice of stock or dropped axle.
  21. My LHS for model mag or generic titled grocery store for Rod & Kulture and Hot Rod Deluxe
  22. I like it because it is not an overly doo-dadded up car!
  23. AMT had them in the 73-79 Ford P/U kits and the Chevy Van ambulance they were Firestone M/S
