High build quality and finish, as usual. Those wheels are something special. Rear shocks look great too. Tasteful wash on the seats. Is that kit chrome or did you redo it?
Thank you sir. Itād be great to see some of the older kits brought back for another run. Iām sure the demand is there and we could avoid buying a less-than-loved kit thatās been kicked around someoneās garage. ;^)

I feel the Daytona and Laser were more of an āaffordable/disposableā sports car. I guess the build quality was never there as you never see one anywhere these days.
Itās kinda sad that so many older kits will never be brought back into production (assuming the molds exist and are still useable), though the engineering and mold quality generally pales in comparison to todayās manufacturing standards.
Unfortunate. I guess it was the ā80s when āmodulesā became a thing.
I must say, aside from the broken clutch cable, mine never left me stranded anywhere. I drove it from Ontario to Florida. Ran like a champ.
Thatās just stoopid! Youād think theyād figure it out after the first, or second, or thirdā¦
Didnāt know the turbos were problematic, but I did know about the head gaskets going.
Thanks Chucky. The MCW paint was nice to use. I still get a little orange peel but Iām trying to get better.
GX100 is great stuff - itās quite thick from the bottle and Iāve found that it likes to go on a little heavier for the greatest shine without polishing.
