  1. AC... need I say more? Our temperature at 8 am was 80° F, by the hottest point of the day we were at 101° F. It stayed throughout the night and we're to have another 101° scorcher today. 90° tomorrow 🥵
  2. Not that is anything special, I spotted my first Fisker Ocean suv.
  3. Today I had an old classmate stop by on his '74 Daytona 500 bike and later in the day I spotted my mechanic out in his '69 GTO.
  4. You have more patience than I would have in this situation. I would have canned the clown when he wasn't accomplishing anything in that first month. If he's working on time & materials, some guys will milk the heck out of a project. Plus why is he messing with the wiring that the electrician is being paid to deal with? I can understand your frustrations, but end his nonsense before you go broke.
  5. Great trade with Kit Basher. It took me a little more time than normal to get my end moving. But all said and done it was a worthwhile trade. Thanks Hugh.. Mike
  6. I can contest to the Weed Wacker lingo. The one I'm currently using and wish I had not bought is an electric Black & Decker model. It's body is shaped like a reciprocating saw. Now you can’t buy a electric powered Weed Wacker, it's gotta be either gas or battery. When this one finally dies, I'll be purchasing a gas powered one.
  7. Every Friday evening starting in the summer the local VFW has a car gathering. Although we didn't have our fishing rods with us, we caught this Cuda escaping the crowd. 😎
  8. My first issue with the new to me 2005 Trailblazer, shifter linkage bushing fell apart as I was doing a 3 point turnaround. Good old zip tie to the rescue until I was able to pick up a new bushing repair kit. 20 minutes and $20. I'm on the road again.
  9. The USS Contitution is a really cool ship. The real ship is docked at Baltimore's inner harbor approximately 30 minutes from my location. As a kid we had bought a lifetime membership to be able to board her wherever we visited. You're doing a great job on recreating her likeness. Can't wait to see your finished product. Happy sailing.
  10. Old age? What's that..lol I'll be 65 going on 12.. 😉
  11. The Equinox he took over is a 9 year old vehicle. The Trailblazer I got is a 20 year old vehicle. But I'm still tickled about getting it. Shucks, no car payments is a win in my book any day. I have a 1994 silverado short bed that's been sitting for an extended period of time that I need to get running again. As long as the Trailblazer holds up till the Silverado is up and running, I'll be happy.
  12. Earlier this week one of my brother-in-laws took possession of his mom's 2016 Equinox. I asked what was the plans for his 2005 Trailblazer? He said since it has 225,000 miles, the AC started to blow warm air and the frame is starting to rust out. He opted to junk it. His mechanic told him not to make any high dollar repairs to it because of the frame issue, that it would be a waste of money. I don’t see it as a big of issue as he does. IMO just about anything can be repaired. If not, I paid nothing for it. So whatever i put into it, I'm still ahead. I put in a can of freon and the AC is blowing cold air again. The interior has no tears, rips or stains. It really just needs a good washing and a waxing.
