  1. Not sure yet. He has an appointment on February 19th with the vascular, cardiovascular specialist. The thought of him being put under at his age and with his weight scares the heck out of me.
  2. Update on my brothers nuclear Induced stress test came back with good results, no issues heart wise. Next step is to see a vascular specialist to address the right internal carotid artery that's deemed, total occlusion and the left carotid that has 15% blockage.
  3. 21 bottles of beer on the wall, 21 bottles of beer, drink them down and fall to the ground, now I'm smashed and don't have a care, except for this killer headache that I wear.
  4. Dang you're lucky John. I've had push blocks ripped out of hand before, but that was a 12" carbide triple chip blade on a table saw. I had my left thumb cut twice needing stitches once across the pad and just the tip shortened on the other occasion during the use of a 10" miter box saw. My worst cut was on my right forearm using a radial arm saw with the with head rotated to rip wood to length. I knew better, but I reached in front of the blade to clear debris and the blade caught my sleave, the cut was almost to the bone. It did have the blade guard attached. I can joke after the fact that the radial arm saw is not intended for cutting arms. What peed me off the most about that wound was that it cut right through my tattoo, luckily I had a ER nurse who was phamoninal at stitching. Sometimes we get a little too relaxed and BAM its to late. All stupidity on my part and hard lessons learned.
  5. "Jokes on you", said the comedian to the heckler in the clubs bathroom after he removed the toilet paper from all the stalls.
  6. Working with the bosses son was like being a babysitter and a damage control specialist at the same time.
  7. Beautiful wagon! I just scored one in the same Aquamarine Blue color. I can only hope I'll do it justice.
  8. Vacation hasn't been in my vocabulary for quite some time either, but I still daydream of it happening, but I've got the feeling it won't be anything soon.
  9. Cool Sean, I'll be wanting two cherry and one peach pie please..😁
  10. Systems, all a go, yelled the chimp astronaut in a chimpanzee dialect, but unfortunately no one at the mission control center knew what he was saying, so the spacecraft just sat there.
  11. Thank you Nathan.. the test was a success and tomorrow we go back to get his results.
  12. Dang good idea, if you were staying. I like to say, Not my circus, not my monkeys...
  13. Finally they hit a vein and the test begins. Now for the 3 hour wait..
  14. My brother's health issues.. This is an on going daily scare for me and of course for him also. Dave's 71 and way over weight, 225 lbs. and boarder line Diabetic. He has COPD, His right carotid artery is completely blocked and the left one is at 15% blockage. He has a small cyst on one of his kidneys which we are told is not an important issue at the moment. Approximately two years ago he had his gallbladder removed because it was full of sludge. Since it's been removed he's been experiencing issues affiliated with that procedure such as abdominal pain and digestive related problems. He gets out of breath just taking a shower or walking more than 10 feet. He has a lump on his right breast area that's tender and is scheduled to have an ultra sound this week. Today he has a nuclear Induced stress test and so far they've tried four times to hit a vein without any luck. This is the second time we've gone through attempting this procedure with the same results of not being able to hit a vein. So I sit hear in the doctors office and wait for hopefully good news that the IV is in and the test can move forward but its not looking likely. They have him drinking water so he can be hydrated which is causing him to have to urinate frequently. To top things off the doctors office bathroom is out of order so until they're successful in hitting a vein he has to walk a decent distance to use the facilities down the hall. All I can think of sitting here is first loosing Mom and then Dad and now the possibility of my brother. This sucks, but it is what is is. We are all born and one day we will all die.
