  1. Tracks made by deer lead straight to bush that was completely stripped of it's foliage, and the thoughtful deer left behind some pellets as a thank you. (I'll spare the photo)
  2. "Hear that?", said the tracker while placing his ear to the railroad track, it's the 5 o'clock westbound heading this, Whoo-Whoo, SQUISH!
  3. Too many times I've said to myself, "I'll never do that again", only to find that it fell on deaf ears.
  4. Market place is where you can find some pretty good deals on everything from clothing, kids toys to motorcycles, which is what my brother just bought for his post midlife crisis toy.
  5. Is that a banana in your pocket or, are you, oh never mind.
  6. Bad dream strikes again after a 5 day reprieve. In my dream it felt as if someone (who I thought was my brother) leaning or pushing down on the mattress. As I moved my hand towards the spot it was a small animal (which I thought was our dog that had died a few days ago). I began to stroke/ pet It when my legs started to be pushed towards the beds headboard and pillows. I felt frantic and tried to holler with no avail. I tried to to beat on the sliding closet door which is within arms reach but I couldn't get up the strength to reach it no matter how much I tried, all the while still trying to holler. I finally managed to touch the closet door and pushed it open but it wasn't noisy enough to wake anyone. I then tried to beat on the wall but I didn't have the strength to do so. Then I heard what I believed was my brother coming down the hall so I tried hollering again, but I could hardly make a sound. Then I woke up. It was so real that I went to see if my brother was up, he was not and the closet door that I had opened, was not. Crazy as it was, I believe that it all has to do with my brothers prostate test results coming back showing he has a high probability of having prostate cancer and needing a biopsy to determine if it's malignant or hopefully benign.
  7. Back in the day around the mulberry bush is where we would meet for a snack.
  8. Alarm of the bed type was a real life saver when caring for my father.
  9. Thank you Carl.. same here, I'm a bit of a softy when it comes to letting go one of our little loved ones. It's the only part of having pets that literally sinks.
