When I'm ready to bed down I play a word game on my phone to unwind. I'm thinking that the thought of my brothers possible demise from all his health issues is weighing heavy on me. Although I have my wife, daughter and grandchildren, aunts and uncles, I'll be the last member of the heard.

Stress? What's that? Lol.. yes I have an unbelievable amount coming from different directions. To top that off, I am what's known as a worry wort. Just my nature. I deal with stress with laughter, but somedays it can be overwhelming. I won't go into details, but these back to back dreams/nightmares are a sign to me that I need to chill out before I stroke out. I'll be fine as I always do. I am guilty as heck of not taking time out for myself, and always putting others ahead of myself. Congratulations on your sobriety. Even though we've never met, I am proud of you! I and my wife were social drinkers, never having any alcohol in the house. That all stopped suddenly 12 years ago due to my daughters ex-husband being an @$$ hole always trying to start fights at the bar we were at. We just grew tired of the drama and dropped the alcohol totally. Best decision ever. Nowadays I can't stand to be around the stuff or the people who abuse it.

Here we go again..🤬 Went to bed at 12:20 am. Woke up at 1:30 am. The dream took place in my late fathers house where I'm currently residing. This time, in this dream I went down to the basement to look for something, don't know what, but I went. I made a left into the larger room and I saw two horizontal band saws (dad has only one) side by side still plugged in, and I thought I better unplug them, but I didn't. As I turned to re-enter the room where the stairs are, a swivel captain style bar chair slowly started to rotate. I booked up the steps to tell my brother. I could not get the words to come out, more like a mumble. I then gestured with my fingers pointing at him then pointing at my eyes and finally towards the ground as if to say, you look down stairs. He looked confused. So I grabbed a note pad and pencil and tried to write out the message, nope, I could not write. It was scribble. Then I tried to turn on the over the stove vent light, but it would not work. I tried the light over the sink, it would not work either. Finally I grabbed him by the hand and pulled him behind me as I headed towards the basement door. As I looked down the stairs I saw a dark colored Chihuahua scratching at the door that opens into the room with the band saws. Two people who I have no idea who they were or why they were in the house came up and walked by me. One was wearing a latex halloween mask. I asked them what the Hell were they doing here? I don't know what they said, then they walked away. I went down the stairs, not sure where my brother was but I went down. As I got to the bottom there was a few people there as if it was a party? I screamed that's it, parties over, everybody, get the Hell out! That's when I woke up. Not sure I want to go back to bed, but I have to sooner or later. It was so fricken real. It's now 2:07, I hope I have no more dreams tonight. This is so out of the norm for me.

After that previous dream, another crazier dream entered the scene that made absolutely no sense at all and woke me up as did the other dream. I was forced to twist a bundle of red and black wires so the colors were separated. The wires were coming out of some guy as if they were part of his anatomy, I dont remember being able to see his face. They were to eventually be plug-in to an extension cord in order to execute him by whoever forced me to wire him up. If I refused I would be killed also. The whole time, I was being watched to insure I carried out the job. I was able to escape the room before finishing the task. I played hide and seek with the bad guy until I saw the opportunity to flee the building and seek help. I was asking everyone I saw for help but no one would respond. Then I woke up, crazy.. I hope tonight is dream free.
