  1. Is that a banana in your pocket or, are you, oh never mind.
  2. Bad dream strikes again after a 5 day reprieve. In my dream it felt as if someone (who I thought was my brother) leaning or pushing down on the mattress. As I moved my hand towards the spot it was a small animal (which I thought was our dog that had died a few days ago). I began to stroke/ pet It when my legs started to be pushed towards the beds headboard and pillows. I felt frantic and tried to holler with no avail. I tried to to beat on the sliding closet door which is within arms reach but I couldn't get up the strength to reach it no matter how much I tried, all the while still trying to holler. I finally managed to touch the closet door and pushed it open but it wasn't noisy enough to wake anyone. I then tried to beat on the wall but I didn't have the strength to do so. Then I heard what I believed was my brother coming down the hall so I tried hollering again, but I could hardly make a sound. Then I woke up. It was so real that I went to see if my brother was up, he was not and the closet door that I had opened, was not. Crazy as it was, I believe that it all has to do with my brothers prostate test results coming back showing he has a high probability of having prostate cancer and needing a biopsy to determine if it's malignant or hopefully benign.
  3. Back in the day around the mulberry bush is where we would meet for a snack.
  4. Alarm of the bed type was a real life saver when caring for my father.
  5. Thank you Carl.. same here, I'm a bit of a softy when it comes to letting go one of our little loved ones. It's the only part of having pets that literally sinks.
  6. Aging also affects the mind and it's capability to spell or pronounce words properly, eye no this from xperiance, yep
  7. Are you sure or are you at the shore?
  8. Wow! Time to build a ginormous snowman.
  9. When I first started working in the cabinet shop some 33 years ago, our original location was in a large wooden garage with a single sliding door in a alleyway of a lumberyard. We had a 30" box fan mounted in a piece of plywood stuck in a window opening. At that time we used Wagner electric spray guns to spray the lacquer and hand rolled the contact cement when laminating counter tops. Our heat source was two kerosene torpedo heaters, talk about massive headaches. We had no bathroom facilities, so we would have to walk approximately 20 feet to the nearest bathroom at the lumberyard. We had a 5 gallon can with a transmission funnel shoved in the pouring spout for when we wanted to urinate instead of walking to the bathroom. 🥴 No way in heck could anyone get away with that stuff nowadays.
  10. Not so much an Irk, but more of a saddening. Our sweet little Chihuahua Zoey, who was 14 years old passed away naturally yesterday. What make it sadder, was my 17 year old granddaughter found her in the kitchen when she came home from school.
  11. Weather consisting of warmer temperatures and sunny skies is very welcome, Carl. (Yep, this☝️is my sentence)
  12. Addicted to many things I must admit, mostly the air that I breathe, and sometime I'll guarantee that I will quit.
