  1. I questioned one seller that clearly stated in his description that he only shipped kits with brown paper wrapping. He told me he'd been shipping that way for years with no issues or damage. He also told me that using a box would cost extra. I took his word and let him ship it as he wished, his kit arrived unscathed. A couple of others, not.
  2. Not today, but over the last few months the deer have been coming up into our yard and enjoying the foliage on the many Golden Euonymus Plants in the yard. They've stripped all the small plants down to the main stalks and are slowly working on the larger bushes.
  3. That really stinks Sean. Luckly I've only a few kits shipped in a bag or wrapped in brown paper. Two arrived damaged but thankfully they were not vintage kits. Still peed me off a bit. I do like that Carpenter kit, I had one but gave it to a buddy.
  4. polite is not a lamp on top of a strippers pole at the gentleman's club.
  5. Sticks and stone may break my bones but milk and brownies will help save me, so I'll send you some and we'll have some fun talking about models while enjoying these yummies.
  6. Sing for joy, the brownie mix is in, so let's get back to smacking them lips and spewing out sentences because before you know it I'll be chewing on some heavenly, delightful calories with a tall glass of milk.
  7. Enough of this mumbo jumbo, it's time to heat up the oven and get mixing on some Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge Brownies for tonight's snack.
  8. This one arrived today from ebay. The box needs some TLC which I was aware of before bidding. I haven't inventoried it yet but I can see already one of the tail lights is missing as I did a fast rummage to separate the glass and tires. I can't complain since it was $21.18 total including S&H and tax.
  9. Sweet, my first model kits were metal Hubleys. Unfortunately the boxes all got trashed but not the models. You can't put a price on memories..
  10. Imagines of red bottoms reminds me of when we did wrong and got the black belt from dad, and no he did not hold a degree in martial arts.
  11. Shoes that I wore during my disco days in high school were blue suede platforms, and NO I did not wear a white leasure suit but rather silk print shirts and bell bottoms.
  12. Hole in me bucket matches the hole in me head, best I find a cork before me brains ooze out and I'm pronounced dead.
  13. Study after study scientist still can only make a hypothesis that snakes on a treadmill still can't join Planet Fitness even if they lawyer up, they apparently don't have a leg to stand on.
  14. New kleenex designs available in camo, blood splatter and green booger galore will be hitting the markets in the near future, as long as they find enough candidates to provide test samples.
  15. Movies to be made documenting the "Skipping of poor Bill's ending word" should be out in theaters soon. (Update on actor to portray Bill, Clint Eastwood)
  16. OH, THE BURN! 😱...💀
  17. Designed for a particular purpose but used for something totally different such as Play-Doh, bubble wrap and even Kleenex.
