  1. i like the engine swap. and the IFS and IRS. ive got some tuner kits in my stash. might borrow your idea
  2. i like your combo build. it looks better in green and black. good cat too. mines a tabby.
  3. Hi there! your weathering is top notch! Lord knows ive read enough in scale auto how to do proper weathering, but you have nailed it. it seems real easy to over do it. i have the same kit, bought it when it was new and cheap. the name suits the car.
  4. hi there! I've got one of those kits too. its a testors-fujimi one. got mine at Chinook hobbies in Calgary at least 7 or 8 years ago. i liked them as soon as they came out. i read somewhere that it was based on the Chevette platform. i plan on swapping on some modern wheels . i think i paid about 5 bucks for mine. they had about a dozen similar kits in a discount bin. continue the rally - JDM look.
  5. hi there! i like what you have done. i want to throw all the aero pack stuff you have done to the toyota to a 720 datsun-nissan truck. check out Sammit on you tube. he's a drift car builder-racer. great work so far
  6. Hi ! my first model car was a pinto. i still have it. its been pro streeted years ago. i was 6 years old in '72. my aunt barb had a med blue one. continue your project. cheers
  7. hi there! my brother and i had a subscription to popular hot rodding in the early 80's. i remember that article and the car. the movie the gumball rally was a great inspiration too. and later the cannoball run with burt reynolds and crew. make us proud and build it!
  8. i like it! the turbine wheels that come with the DMC are good, but an update was necessary. have you watched the you tube guys, salvage to savage. their lead fabricator has built an LS turbo DMC thats quite the beast. keep on with tastefull customizing .
  9. hi there; i remember an article in scale auto about the 5 or 6 types of model car builders. one was Primer Pete. his cars make it to that stage and people he showed his builds to always liked them, but he never gets to the paint stage. i can totally identify with that. hell, mine barely make it to the roller stage. the creative process is the muse, not the shiny finished item. thats my excuse and i'm stickin to it
