  2. you can find a '67 in resin on ebay. i think they go for $60 or so... if you buy one then get another for me!
  3. 1st thing 1st. absolutely beautifull builds. All of them. Great Job! 2nd You might not wanna build that Revell kit if you're an "AMT man all the way."
  4. yep i started working on a video tutorial tonight on scratch building a frame.
  5. sweet! even though i can't see the pics of what you got.
  6. now this is something you don't see everyday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4dGY-aUVps

  8. nice choice of color and wheels... i like this.
  9. great job on the Vick! did you use a store purchased brand of weathering or the salt water technique
  10. try Gerry's way first and if that doesn't change aythng then you get all the facts and figures and take 'em to court.
  11. the c6 transaxle will protrude into the cab of the car so it might not work. double check before you get too far into this build.
  12. never a more truer statement. my first was a 84 s10 ex cab. V6 with a 4speed. oh the memories... she's been out of my life for a long time and now i want her back.
  13. Sebastian Fl? i spent a lot of time at the Sebastian inlet when i lived in Vero Beach. great place to swim if you're not afraid of a few waves Welcome to the forums.
  14. not really rich and famous but known in Buffalo NY and by many other football fans. Josh Reed ex receiver of the Buffalo Bills builds model cars.
  15. i got the Thank You page you must have been doing something wrong. the rules state: submit....up to five (5) photos of your model (up to 2 MB per image). the 5 photos i submitted this year was just over 4 megs combined last year and the year before was also over 4 megs. i remember the 1st year i had 7 megs total and i won the thing so i know it wasn't 2 megs total
  16. Bill Engwer said it best. checked one out in a Harbor Freight store a few years back and there's alot of wobble in parts that shouldn't be
  17. for a brief moment i wanted to build an airplane for the Revell Gearz contest then i relized if i won it with a plane i would probably get all planes for thier one year of models prize they give out so the urge left me. oh yeah occaisonally i want to build a model out of the box like i did when i was a kid... i tried to do just that twice this year and it was a big mistake both times so i went back to what i know best with slicing and dicing a model to bits and pieces before building it.
  18. i like using baseball card storage boxes. just place the model in a clear plastic bag and cut foam to fit around the model. you'll have to take note about small parts that could easily get knocked off like mirrors & antennas when packing foam. the downside to this is only cars and pickups that are not jacked up will fit in these boxes.
  19. no. you can buy it from any retail store like hobbylobby or your local hobby shop. i don't know about ebay or other online shops. just make sure you get a receipt for your kit and save it .
  20. like many who posted on here im not thrilled with the kits offered. i'll be out of my comfort zone with all but 3 of these kits but i am actually looking forward to this contest. this gives me a good reason to try something new be creative with my build.
  21. $15K? oh um. i think the painted on carbon looks so much better... and cheaper!
  22. i hear ya on that buddy... when he was killed my interest in NASCAR went with him. haven't watched more than a couple hours worth of racing a year since his death.
  23. no they just ran out of stone. of all people they are the ones who just had to run out of the most important writing material a writer could have.
