  1. Great paint and engine details, what's not to like.
  2. I can take a pic for you if you want, but I scrounged the leaf springs from my parts box bent them with the heat from my soldering iron and made the drop front axle from scratch out of steel wire brass and plastic. I think your best bet may be to find a drop front axle from another kit if you have one, save a lot of time. Below is a pic of the drop front axle, hope that helps.
  3. Nice work on your mods Richard, now I want to see you do a build on the new Revell Camaro, so I can follow that. Sorry should not have opened that can of worms, lol, really nice work.
  4. Nice subtle weathering on your Camaro, very realistic.
  5. Thanks guys.
  6. Amazing work, can't wait to see what you do next.
  7. Nice work, don't see this kit being done to often, so good it looks like a new Tamiya kit.
  8. I like it, very clean , nice engine details.
  9. Thanks guys for all the nice comments, it was a fun build.
  10. Hang in there John, I think many of us had these kinds of problems when we first started I know I did.
  11. As with all your work amazing, I don't think I will ever get tired of this build.

    37 Ford Coupe

Very nice, I love a well done Ford Coupe.
  13. Thanks guys. Ace thanks, yes removing the exhaust was the toughest part of this build by far, bur worth it. Niko thanks, I didn't know you needed a rear bumper or push bar to make it it gasser, live and learn.
  14. I am calling this one done, still a few minor things to do like paint the front turn signals and the battery cable ends. I am pretty happy with the finished model over all. All comments welcome.
  15. I am really glad you posted this build, amazing all around.
  16. I just love this build, great decals and engine details, the clear scoop is awesome.
  17. Thanks Gene, no the tack was a detail master part I think, the rest of the stuff was scratch built.
  18. Great work on your build, I like how almost every part has the matching colors.
  19. Way past time for am update, you guys know how it goes some times life gets in the way. I finished the interior and installed it, several scratch built items such as shifter and boot, fire extinguisher and the gas brake and clutch pedals. next I will work on the suspension. This kit will be finished in a month or so, at least I hope so. All comments welcome.
  20. Great work Al, and a great save.
  21. Outstanding work john. The paint is just to cool, who doesn't think snoopy is cool.
  22. Time for an update, I got some more work done on the body, I installed the windows, head lights, tail lights, grille and a few other parts. I decided to tint the windows red to go with the roof, I also stripped the chrome off the grille and painted it to match the roof. I wanted a different look for the grille so I gutted it leaving only the outside shell and made an insert from aluminum sheet drilled a few holes and polished it.
  23. Thanks guys, it was a lot of fun to build.
  24. Your mustang looks great.
