  1. There is nothing I don't like about this one, you should be proud.
  2. I like the period correct hot rod look, well done.
  3. I like it, Ford powered Ford it's about time, wait there are engines other SBC no way, lol.
  4. You are doing really good work on this kit, my favorite part is the interior, well done.
  5. Great engine details, this build keeps getting better.
  6. Super smooth and clean, nice finish ray.
  7. Nice work Bill, love those vintage drag cars.
  8. Thanks Alan, I machined the fuel filters from acrylic stock on my lathe.
  9. Amazing work, I want to see the engine installed in that awesome chassis.
  10. Your interior looks great, I think it's your foil that is the problem. When you start again make shore you use a new blade to trim your foil, just use that new blade for the foil only nothing else.
  11. Paint and decals look really nice.
  12. Thanks Bill, I am just going for the orange car on the box.
  13. Yep the paint is amazing, well done.
  14. Wow that looks great Ray, the body is super smooth and I love the paint.
  15. Time for an update. I fixed the problem with the engine fitting under the hood, just had to make a few tweaks. The engine is pretty much finished, I added the headers, fuel filter and lines, carb linkage and return springs, tach drive cable. I could add more details but I don't want to make the engine look to busy. All comments welcome.
  16. Wow that looks really good, can't wait to see another update.
  17. Great detail work, I am glad you Ac and alternator are not just hanging in mid air.
  18. Thanks guys, just about fixed the engine problem fitting under the hood.
  19. Looks pretty good to me, and those flames are awesome.
  20. Your door panel looks pretty good, keep at it.
  21. Once again thanks for the heads up Gerald on the fit issue with my motor mods. I checked to see if it would fit, so far no way to tell as the motor does not even fit the mounts with or without my mods, I will let you know how I fix the issue.
  22. Thanks for the heads up. I will check to see if it fits, if not no big deal I can cut and move the motor mounts a few scale inches. Not a big deal.
  23. You picked a pretty good kit to start with I had a lot of fun with mine. As you have already noticed the tires kinda suck, but most of this kit is good, good luck with your build.
  24. I really love this build, the entire car just has such an amazing vibe about it everything goes together so well.
  25. Time for an update. Got lots of engine work done, I also need to fix some stuff like repainting the carbs they look really bad. I still have to paint and install the headers, fuel line, fuel filters, brackets for the velocity stacks and maybe some carb linkage if I can fit it in. The pics could be better the flash is making many parts look a lot more shiny than they are. All comments welcome.
