  1. Well done, I love the salt flat cars.
  2. Great stock build on your Mustang.
  3. Thanks Austin, kids and models don't always mix, lol.
  4. The paint on the red one is awesome, they both look really good.
  5. Time for a new build, The Revell Hemi Dart. I started with the basic engine assemble, engines halves, front cover and intake manifold. I will add and make lots of detail changes, I have already added a dip stick filler tube and drilled holes for the rad hoses and scratch built distributor. I also stripped the chrome from the rocker covers and painted them flat black, holes were drilled for the plug wires and I removed the breathers as I will make my own from scratch. The engine is painted hemi orange the trans is aluminum and the bell housing is steel. All comments welcome.
  6. Well done, really captures the look of the 1960's.
  7. Beautiful work on that big Chrysler, great engine details.
  8. Thanks Rob, thanks Russell sorry for some reason I missed your question. here is a pic of the machine I use to make my parts. Russell I don't think it's all that hard to make these simple parts but the machine is expensive, the pic shows my Unimat lathe it's from the 1960's, I paid $400.00 for it not so cheap, it is portable the weight is about 20 pounds and the length is about 21 inches. You can get better modern machines for a little more but some of them weigh more than 3 times as as much. Finished build is in the under glass section.
  9. They both came out great.

Never seen this kit built like this, very nice.
  11. Great work on all your build Yuri.
  12. Steve has I nice ride, wish I had one.
  13. Great work JC, I think the engine looks real good so far. About that header I think you got it as close as you could without making an entire engine from scratch.
  14. Thanks Jeff, the finished car is in the under glass section if you want to check it out.
  15. I agree your paint work came out great.
  16. Wow that's really to bad, as your paint work looks pretty smooth, good luck on the fix.
  17. Great looking interior and engine.
  18. Here you go, 3 pics, to rear of the leaf springs I used a piece of styrene channel to locate the rear of the spring and I removed the anti sway bar, no other mods to the rails. I used none of the kit parts for the suspension it was either parts box parts or scratch built, in the pic it looks like the drop axle is hitting the oil pan but there is clearance. Hope this helps.
  19. A stock build, nice to see that for a change, and so well done.
  20. Great paint and engine details, what's not to like.
  21. I can take a pic for you if you want, but I scrounged the leaf springs from my parts box bent them with the heat from my soldering iron and made the drop front axle from scratch out of steel wire brass and plastic. I think your best bet may be to find a drop front axle from another kit if you have one, save a lot of time. Below is a pic of the drop front axle, hope that helps.
  22. Nice work on your mods Richard, now I want to see you do a build on the new Revell Camaro, so I can follow that. Sorry should not have opened that can of worms, lol, really nice work.
  23. Nice subtle weathering on your Camaro, very realistic.
