  1. Your door panel looks pretty good, keep at it.
  2. Once again thanks for the heads up Gerald on the fit issue with my motor mods. I checked to see if it would fit, so far no way to tell as the motor does not even fit the mounts with or without my mods, I will let you know how I fix the issue.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I will check to see if it fits, if not no big deal I can cut and move the motor mounts a few scale inches. Not a big deal.
  4. You picked a pretty good kit to start with I had a lot of fun with mine. As you have already noticed the tires kinda suck, but most of this kit is good, good luck with your build.
  5. I really love this build, the entire car just has such an amazing vibe about it everything goes together so well.
  6. Time for an update. Got lots of engine work done, I also need to fix some stuff like repainting the carbs they look really bad. I still have to paint and install the headers, fuel line, fuel filters, brackets for the velocity stacks and maybe some carb linkage if I can fit it in. The pics could be better the flash is making many parts look a lot more shiny than they are. All comments welcome.
  7. Very cool idea, I will be watching this one.
  8. Well done, I love the salt flat cars.
  9. Great stock build on your Mustang.
  10. Thanks Austin, kids and models don't always mix, lol.
  11. The paint on the red one is awesome, they both look really good.
  12. Time for a new build, The Revell Hemi Dart. I started with the basic engine assemble, engines halves, front cover and intake manifold. I will add and make lots of detail changes, I have already added a dip stick filler tube and drilled holes for the rad hoses and scratch built distributor. I also stripped the chrome from the rocker covers and painted them flat black, holes were drilled for the plug wires and I removed the breathers as I will make my own from scratch. The engine is painted hemi orange the trans is aluminum and the bell housing is steel. All comments welcome.
  13. Well done, really captures the look of the 1960's.
  14. Beautiful work on that big Chrysler, great engine details.
  15. Thanks Rob, thanks Russell sorry for some reason I missed your question. here is a pic of the machine I use to make my parts. Russell I don't think it's all that hard to make these simple parts but the machine is expensive, the pic shows my Unimat lathe it's from the 1960's, I paid $400.00 for it not so cheap, it is portable the weight is about 20 pounds and the length is about 21 inches. You can get better modern machines for a little more but some of them weigh more than 3 times as as much. Finished build is in the under glass section.
  16. They both came out great.

Never seen this kit built like this, very nice.
  18. Great work on all your build Yuri.
  19. Steve has I nice ride, wish I had one.
  20. Great work JC, I think the engine looks real good so far. About that header I think you got it as close as you could without making an entire engine from scratch.
  21. Thanks Jeff, the finished car is in the under glass section if you want to check it out.
  22. I agree your paint work came out great.
  23. Wow that's really to bad, as your paint work looks pretty smooth, good luck on the fix.
