  1. Well done, I do a junker once in a while to break up all the shiny builds. I like the red door breaks things up and the ripped headliner is a nice touch. Your pictures are nice an clear lots of good angles but you may want to turn the flash down just a bit.
  2. So am I Steve so am i.
  3. Great build super clean, a real eye catcher.
  4. Well done Ray, it looks like a very nice kit. As far as know this was the only early F1 car that had a side mounted engine.
  5. Thanks Gene, every time I pick up another part in the kit I find it's almost of no use, this is what I get for saying it was a decent kit, my second opinion is, it's not very good. I really had no intention of going this far with this kit, the snow ball effect, lol.
  6. Thanks, I am working on the headers now, worst part on the engine.
  7. Small update, I made the super charger hat from scratch. Below the 3 pics show a scrap box part on the left which is a little small and on the right the replacement.
  8. They both look great and held up very well over time.
  9. Thanks Carl, I will check that out.
  10. Cool race car and a really nice build, it's nice to have those pics for reference and even better that you owned the car.
  11. Outstanding build, a true muscle car.
  12. Nice work that engine looks great.
  13. Thanks Richard, now that the paint is cured I don't think it needs to be buffed out, I will add the foil and decals apply the clear coat and see how it looks. I have started to paint the engine and do some test fitting. The biggest problem with this kit is I can't find a single reference pic with the kit wheels and single fuel tank any place, I also need to make the bug catcher injector (that's what I call it) time to scratch build I guess. If anybody has a reference pictures of this car that would be a big help.
  14. Great work on an awesome kit.
  15. Time for an update, the first pic shows the kit engine on the left and the Revell 1968 firebird engine on the right that will replace it, much better detail. Last 2 pics of the body in it's orange Judge paint, still needs to be buffed it's fresh and still needs time to cure. All comments welcome.
  16. Well done sir, you did some amazing work on that body, I am shore the rest of the car will turn out great.
  17. That's a really big car, well done.
  18. Nice work Jeff that interior looks very good.
  19. Great looking model. I bet the owners of the bare metal foil company must love you, lol.
  20. Thanks David, a little luck can't hurt.

    Duster

I also think the front track is a bit wide, the engine looks very good. I like the chassis and the contrast of the red components against the silver, I think the center section of the chassis should also be silver. A little buffing of the paint and she will look great.
  22. I did this kit many years ago yep it's a dog, as you said lot of flash, you did a good job on a poor kit. I am pretty shore it's a 1972 GTO the 69 was a very different looking car.
  23. Time for the next build The Super Judge, looks like a decent kit. This one will take a lot of clean up before priming, I have 3 hours into the body already, removed the door handles, locks, all emblems and the fender lips. The last pics shows all the work on the underside of the body, I removed all the mounting lugs for the glass and rear bumper, I think it's a good idea to do this as it's a funny car and you may see some of the inside of the body. All comments welcome.
  24. Great looking super fast build.
