Aluminum paint is subjective, each manufacturer has their own version: cast aluminum, bright aluminum, brushed aluminum, polished aluminum, dull aluminum. My choice for spray cans is Rustoleum Bright Aluminum and Krylon Dull Aluminum. Been modeling for 64 years and neither has let me down.

Just so ya know: Hobby Lobby has real wooden barrels that are very close to the size of the ones in the Beer Wagon kit. They stain real well, I used coffee to stain mine, and look fantastic. They are in bags in the section that has the wood letters
