  1. Brian, what did you use for the insulation under the hood?
  2. A little progress, got a new fuel tank fabbed up after spilling glue on my finished tank. finished the fab work on the front bumper and applied chrome.
  3. Good to see what you have been working on, man that looks good, well done
  4. Great start, and wow, good luck with your treatment.
  5. It is addictive to keep trying new ideas and develop new skills. Oh I get it, I’m watching buddy.
  6. I did manage to save the straps and rechrome after some work. Still trying to save the tank. On a good note, I got the headlights built yesterday and like the more modern and depth of the lens (beads) I used. I think the headlights fit the theme of mild custom.
  7. Watching your approach to the windows, I always have stress when I add the rubber, I have been using the permanent marker with some luck and is repairable, but over some colors it picks up a blue hue sometimes.
  8. Oh man, hope you can repair the center windshield piece. Looking so good otherwise
  9. Just outstanding, the exhaust is going to add nice detail, well done.
  10. OMG, major disaster, I spilled glue on top of the tank when attaching the chrome straps. Now, to see if I can remove straps then repaint, second: build a new tank again.
  11. Wow, that is a cool build.
  12. Thanks and agree, think I have built every part at least twice if not more.
  13. Bumper #4..this design works better as it fills the gap under the headlights.
  14. Thanks Victor, color is growing on me, thought it was going to be too dark.
  15. Nice job on those handles
  16. This is the third bumper I have built, the bumper needs to make a mild custom statement, so I made it taller and added the turn signals (moved from top of fenders). Will use the 4mm glass beads. Now to get chrome on. playing around with 4mm glass beads for headlights, gives the appearance of the new halogen headlights. Kinda like the look.
  17. Does it work well with lacquer paints?
  18. Looks like I finally got rid of the 3D print lines on the fenders. Think I am satisfied. Tanks turned out well also. Making new taller front bumper and rechroming headlights.
  19. So far the printer lines don’t show, but I will let them sit for a few days and watch. I think next time I paint a large flat area that is 3D printed, I will try a fill and sand primer. I have painted a lot of 3D printed parts but all were small parts in comparison to the fenders with no issues. Curious if different 3D resins act differently to primer/paint.
  20. Not feeling tops today but thought I would do a bit of painting. Third time painting the fenders and tanks.
  21. Like that fuel tank build, gotta play with that build idea.
  22. Glad to see you at the bench again, color looks good.
  23. There is sssoooo much talent being shown in this forum, Randy, that’s impressive
