  1. This will be interesting to watch and see what you do with it. I have the old version of this kit.
  2. That’s a pretty good deal, is that cab in two pieces like the other SD/DD kit?
  3. Now that is a cool idea, be watching for that build
  4. Well that’s interesting, I have a couple Cabover, your picture is giving me some ideas. Sure like where this build is going.
  5. Quick mock-up, built a ladder/steps to the to put between the drivers side fuel tank and rear fenders, attach to frame.
  6. Wow, the kit glass is really bad, got it installed, but not happy. Got a lot of fiddling stuff done. Finish up cab then get the motor stuck in and some detailing, not a lot.
  7. Good to hear Tom, looking forward to a build report.
  8. Thanks, decided to make this build a bit more working custom, added decals and stuff.
  9. Couldn’t sleep this morning, so got the hood/grill finished up.
  10. Got lucky, found a decal sheet with a Kenworth logo for the grill and two silver Kenworth logos for the hood.
  11. I am using this tool to punch out those washers, when the punch punches out the washer, the bottom side has a real nice radius, but a slight dimple, which I flat sand smooth, also a quick flat sanding of the bottom just for glueing purpose.
  12. In keeping with the mild custom vision, this how my grill will look. I used a screen material with just a bit more bling. I need to detail the Kenworth badge on grill surround but it has very little detail in the plastic, hoping to find a decal to work with. I have done this type of grill work on many builds and it works well and not so fragile.
  13. These come in a ton of kits as generic lighting, I have collected a bunch over the years. I am getting better at organizing left over parts and putting them in organized containers.
  14. I made some chrome bases for these yellow lights (that come in almost every kit). Used my hole punch to make these washers, I think they work, two for the truck, two for the trailer.
  15. Looking forward to what you do here Dom, always watching guys building with resin or 3D printed bodies. Appears that is our future in modeling, lot to learn yet.
  16. Looking forward to your test results and opinions, chrome in my book is still a hit and miss challenge.
  17. Kinda, trying not to get finger prints on them is near impossible, gotta couple small smudges.
