  1. OMG, I was laughing so hard when I read your post, but darn you might be right
  2. One problem that will plague me this entire build, it’s not a kit and I have no instructions, so everything has to be purchased, found or fabricated. I am going to run these tires, 1st problem, when mounted on the wheelset on the right, the tires touch, after much digging, I found a set of rims on the left that are spaced further apart to allow clearance between the mounted duals. Also the center drive hub from the axles must fit tightly, both sets fit the drive hub. Now off to the purple pond to remove all chrome, then wheels get a gray color, very little chrome on this build.
  3. So I have heard, the more I dig in history of class 8 trucks, there have been some strange bed fellows and some horrible breakups, all for the sake of profits. When I dug into the White Road Boss/Autocar business, I was blown away.
  4. Your builds just make me smile, your creativity is just off the charts. What’s next?
  5. Really not a big deal with a lot of research on the internet and some guidance from Brian, Ron and Jeff and a few others. The hard part is that the truck can be ordered with so many variations starting with engines, transmissions, type of rear suspension, type of drive axles to a point. Heard a story where a gentleman wanted Mack rear axles and Kenworth refused the order. Brakes can be disk or drum, front axle choices and it goes on and on

  13. Wow, this is gonna be a one of a kind build, great vision
  14. Cleaned up bench, moved C500 to front and center, organized most of the parts on side bench. Still waiting on new cab with smaller sleeper and another axle set but I can get started making frame rail's .
