  1. Professor Brian…….hhhmmmmm, does have a ring to it. Brian’s gonna block me if that sticks 🫨😂🤣
  2. I need to come to your house and go to BMU (Brian’s Modeling University), so I can learn some new skills. All kidding aside, got huge respect for your skills Brian.
  3. Tom, your skills are outstanding, I have been watching you build this, just wat too cool.
  4. Jealous of you guys with all the 3D modeling on computer and the 3D printing, imagination is your only hurtle. Well done.
  5. They show up more than the camera illustrates, but maybe I’m being too picky. I might try a fill and sand primer next time on 3D parts, good learning process.
  6. I am getting my ……. kicked. As the paint on the fenders cured, I could see the 3D printer lines. So I sanded them down again, repainted them……and the 3D printer lines are back but less. So let dry, sand again and try repainting them for the third time. You can see the lines in the shine.
  7. Victor, you are building on a whole different level, outstanding work.
  8. Geez Brian, this looks like an advertisement from the manufacturer who makes this bed, where’s the brand logo?
  9. Glad to see this back on the bench.
  10. Yes it finger prints way to easy, the battery boxes where chromed a month ago and I can finally handle then with no issues. My engine parts have been chromed for months and they are good to go. The battery straps after three days will finger print yet, so I will let the rear light assembly and battery straps sit now and turn my focus back to the engine and cab. I had heard one guy put them in a dehydrator, but did not hear back how that worked. I think a month is safe.
  11. Quick mock-up, I think this is enough chrome for a mild custom.
  12. Impressive scratch building, watching
  13. After a lot of work removing the 3D printer lines and clean up, the fenders have turned out well.
  14. I like to be clean and organized but not a neat freak. But this is the bench today.
  15. I haven’t received my chrome paint I ordered so I guess I will use the Revell, just not my favorite chrome paint.
  16. First thought, what are you ole guys doing up so late😂🤣😂🤣 second: when I redid my bench I flipped my mat so it would look better and I can also read the print, I actually use those lines on there.
  17. All the pieces are made to hang the fenders, the front square axle gets pulled then trimmed to length during final installation. Test fit tomorrow and adjust if needed then Off to paint tomorrow, frame bracket semi black, fenders dark blue, rear light assembly gets chrome.
  18. Thanks Steve, yes sir , I wanna put my tanks together NOW, but gotta wait or I will have finger prints everywhere
  19. Bought these fenders from EBay, they are 3D printed. They have very fine printer lines and the pin freckles from printing. I am surprised at how well they sanded smooth and able to remove the freckles pretty easy. the one on the left is sanded and ready for primer. Wish I knew what printer resin they used.
  20. Rainy day, so extra bench time. Remade the rear light bar (messed up one hole on the first one) following the theme of the headache rack. The light bar will also serve as the rear mount for the fenders. Now primer them chrome.
  21. I’m running out of things to say, such a well detailed build with such outstanding craftsmanship
