  1. https://www.ebay.com/str/brians3dmarketplace from this guy on eBay
  2. Great job on that hood, engine and fit looks good.
  3. Couldn’t sleep, so getting started on the engine, progress this morning.
  4. OMG….you have just taken tie rods and shocks to the next level…….by the way……what oil are you using in those shocks? 😂🤪🤣 your imagination is gonna drive you nuts some day. Well done, now I gotta buy more stuff.
  5. Love it, this thread made me laugh today, outstanding, need more of that.
  6. Not really , 1:the Road Boss will go back to the shelf again for future work, 2: The C500 is next up but still chasing parts, not starting building anything yet, 3:my time is still focused on the 925 KW and getting it finished.
  7. Really like how you are modifying your front axle, and that’s a great representation of the lift axle.
  8. Cab arrived a couple days ago and it is a really nice 3D print finish with minimal work to finish, the kit came with no glass or interior tub. The interior tub, I will fabricate similar to the Paystar 5000 with a floor pan, then the interior side panels. The Windshield, not sure, but I have some .010 clear evergreen sheet. The kit came with fuel tanks( one broken) and a front bumper.
  9. For starters I will look at some interior tubes I have in my junk box to see what’s close, if not I’ll glue something up, it’s a wider cab, so thinking that the tub from the international 5000 might be a good starting place.
  10. Liking the progress, watching
  11. Me either, had that set for correcting the T600 kit, was digging for axles for C500. One note, these axles have the large wheel hubs as well, bonus for me.
  12. Thanks Lee, need to get this done because my mind is already on the C500….as you can tell.
  13. The new cab just came today, wow, impressed on the finish of the 3D printing.
  14. Those axles are from ST Supply, they are in the 1:24 scale Kenworth air suspension kit. https://stsupplyco.com/collections/chassis-suspensions-axles/products/kenworth-airglide-suspension-tandem-axle-kit-1-24-scale
  15. Laying out the suspension for 2.16 inch (4ft-6in, 54 inch) spacing
  16. Neway, but there are two versions, one version has a wishbone (better term) that connects the top of the axle to the frame, the older version has two rods, I have the two rod version, that I got from ST Supply
  17. eBay, they are https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=1-2-3+blocks&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311 i have six of them or three pairs and oh man, they are great for fixturing things up, squaring things, I also have one set of V- blocks and a full set of parallels. I also use a height gage to get all my axles at the same height.
  18. Suspension and axles are arriving, the suspension will be pretty close to accurate for 2017 C500, the 3D printed axles are not perfect for the year, but fairly close and well detailed.
  19. Little more progress today. Got the air to air condenser built for the turbo. just enough room under the hood.
  20. It’s finger nail self adhesive tape, it’s about .030 wide, but I do put a very small dab of clear finger nail polish on the end to make sure it stays down. Stuff is hard to handle.
  21. Some progress today, detailing out the air filters
