Detail is paying off, looking good

I have been MIA for a while. The wife and I have been exploring Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Wyoming this summer and also my brand new Jeep is kicking my ………. All kinds of computer issues with it. But anyway, the modeling has not left my mind. My bench cracked right down the middle and everything rocks on the old bench top. So I bought a new bench top and a Craftsman toolbox to slide under the bench. The new bench top will be about a foot longer than the old one but hey, who doesn’t need more bench space. Gotta wait till it cools down a bit to get up to my hobby room to tear everything apart, rebuild my bench and hopefully do a better job of organizing my stuff.

Sorry Ron, not sure how I missed this. I did pickup the cross country as well, it has a much better frame without the molded on suspension and will use that kit instead.

I have used the Krylon leather colors, I actually like the sheen and kinda represents leather really well, looks good on your build.

Very first truck I learned to drive. Twin screw pulling a grain trailer. Well that’s the only good memory I have of that truck, just beat me to death. Your build brings back memories, really like what you are building, will be watching.
