  1. Wow, that is looking good, nice modifications, they work well.
  2. Getting close to paint, got to work out the lights and some details for load straps.
  3. Thanks Brian, I like the build to tell a story. The rest of the pallet/container snaps over the molding machine.
  4. Man, you guys are on another level, this is gonna be good, got my popcorn😆🤩😆
  5. Thank you Topher thanks Scott, got more crossmembers to make and details to finish up the frame, then cleanup.
  6. Need to build a few more crossmembers and do doom finish work. Got the deck plates made for front and back (they will be chrome diamond plate to match truck). Trailer will receive the same blue paint. The load is an injection molding machine kit I built several years ago but did nothing with. Chrome wheelset came Friday. Lot more work on trailer yet.
  7. Big compliment Wolf thank you, I have thru the grape vine heard that you are a really good builder. I have a lot of homemade tools I use, scratch building is by far my favorite. You are welcome to message me and we can talk tools, tips and tricks anytime.
  8. I did not find any online prints for this build. So I am kinda using what knowledge I have and refereeing to pictures. This low trailer does allow for a sturdy frame beam underneath because of the ground clearance. The last frame I did was a drop deck that gave me more space under the trailer for a taller frame.
  9. Deck floor rough fabrication on drivers side, hopefully tomorrow I can build the passenger side deck floor.
  10. Every part gets the Brian touch, well done professor, that interior is a work of art.
  11. I am not very familiar with this style of trailer and thought the wooden blocks where nonsense, but as you say, they just drop these trailers on wooden blocks. Who knew.
  12. Lots of crossmembers to be fabricated, but had to do a quick mock-up to make sure trailer can pivot behind truck without hitting fenders on truck. got to figure out crank up jacks, pictures shows these trailers being dropped on wooden blocks, not sure I like that. Thought about single large Jack in the center.
  13. Auslowe trailer air ride kit that I have.
  14. Some progress, replacement fuel tank is fabbed up and painted, readyfor chrome. Trailer tires/wheels arrived today and the air brakes are here. Got to give a couple joints some love then continue building main frame of trailer.
  15. Third section going on with crossmembers, tried to fixture up the glue up to keep everything square.
  16. Second frame section built and so far nice and straight
  17. Wow, I had trouble finding TS-50 Mica Blue for my trailer, visited several web sites but no good, went on eBay and bought from 3 different companies to get 5 spray cans. Also been looking for the Revell Peterbilt 357 with the opening doors, found one for 140.00 bucks on eBay (kinda pricey), seems they are tuff to get right now. Seems many things are tough to get these days. Times sure are changing.
  18. Yes sir, that is a very small drill press on my bench, didn’t know if I would use it much, but it has been a good add, use it a lot.
  19. Ya got some serious fabrication skills Tom, can’t wait until next update
  20. Crossmembers in section over the trailer axles
  21. The two main frame rails for the double drop trailer are cut to size, mitered and fitted, still some clean up of joints. Now to cut 30 plus crossmembers
  22. I didn’t realize there was such a trailer as a “Double Drop”, been doing some research. Only ever seen one.
