  1. Little update. Got the battery boxes modified per Ron’s advice and chromed. Polished the aluminum exhaust tubes, interior paint (want it to look like brown leather), dash is about ready to apply gage panels. Air canisters are painted, let dry for a few days then paint chrome clamp rings and detail them out.
  2. Pleasure to watch your builds.
  3. Looking forward to watching this build. Oh, love the posing of the coffee cups, that’s just cool.
  4. I’ve done that tape trick many times, well done.
  5. Top notch building right there.
  6. Not a detail missed, this is really a special build.
  7. Good to see you getting some bench time, progress looks good
  8. Impressive work, tells a great story
  9. Another one of a kid kit, well done
  10. Never seen the paint trick and looks as it worked well. I’m stealing that idea😉😉
  11. Paint work complete on headache rack, let these sit for a few days before any handling.
  12. Design, print, paint and assemble, a whole new level of modeling. Well done Jurgen.
  13. OMG, ssoooo funny and yet ssooo cool, well done
  14. Thanks, it represents it well, I will get some ordered for my trailer builds.
  15. Wow Victor, that is some outstanding detail, well done. Where did you find e-track?
  16. Finally a day that I can lay some paint down, 4 coats, tomorrow, a light sand then two more coats, then clear.
  17. That’s an impressive build Dom, well done
  18. One thing about attaching a visor, it makes me have stress, they slip when glueing, gotta scratch paint off and I hate when they slip. This is my second time pinning the visor with .047 pins. This allows me to paint everything separately then add a dab of glue with a toothpick to the holes and just snap the visor on during assembly. I will glue pins to the visor, sand flush, allow pins to only be as long as the cab thickness so to not interfere with glass.
  19. Weather is still not worthy of painting yet so on to the interior. I have one set of high back bucket seat from Auslowe again the mild custom vision. I did pick up a PE dash/gage set, so I need to remove all the molded in stuff and check fit.
  20. Brian, I will just paint grill surround, the PE stuff will remain silver. I saw a 900 done like that and liked the look. It also fits the mild custom vision. I have seen a full custom where the entire grill was painted, just didn’t care for that look.
  21. The CTM grill fits the AMT KW 925 grill shell acceptable, spent a lot of time recorrecting the radius and removing the molded in KW emblem, but going with this. Headlights now fitted, and turn signal holes filled. All edges cleaned up and sanded. Grill surround will be painted body color with silver screen insert. Now to find cool turn signals and a place to mount them.
  22. Wowzer, that is some incredible fabrication, outa my league
  23. Got the grill cut out and PE grill installed, headlights need a lot of work (don’t fit in fender holes. Looks better that kit grill
