  1. Wow, you have been busy, man that thing looks good, nice fab work.
  2. I use them mostly for scratch building, holding things square, fixturing and use them to sit the frame on as I am building the truck. No they are not necessary, they are just a nice additional tool. A more important tool is my calipers, for instance I build a 4 bag air suspension and the molding process had some air bags at different heights, which when done you could possibly have a set of wheels that will not touch the table as the other wheels do ( one set hanging in the air).
  3. Pretty cheap on eBay, I have four of them but many times wish I had two more.
  4. Good to know, got this kit on the shelf, thanks for sharing those details
  5. All the cross members cut and installed
  6. Really nice detail and progress, lookin good
  7. This build is looking so good, like your tire choices. Moebius wheels seem a bit to perfect, I have heard of guys using some kind of really thin wash to add a more realistic look, but no idea of what they did. Not something I have experimented with. The updates you are incorporating will make this an outstanding build.
  8. A&N just sent me a message with a delivery date of August for my engine.
  9. Got started building a new trailer, partially from scratch. Using the main frame rails, dollys and suspension from the kit. Got to cut 19 cross members next
  10. I have not seen the paper clip hood hinge, it looks very neat/clean. May have to experiment with that. Truck is looking really good.
  11. Lookin good, like where this is going Jeff
  12. Just ordered a MX13 engine from A&N. Yes it is 1:24 scale, Not sure if I will be able to use it but we will see.
  13. https://stsupplyco.com/collections/cab-hood-parts/products/kenworth-w825-needle-nose-cab-conversion-kit-1-25 not sure if this will help
  14. Really good adjustments, looks good
  15. Just picked that one up myself and have the same dilemma. Wish I could find an updated hood for it. Be watching suggestions
  16. The finish is pretty good, the detail is good, will let you know about paint.
  17. The neighbor,s truck has a straight six, I am guessing it is a Pakcar motor. I heard A&N is coming out with a Pakcar motor.
  18. I had enough left over Modeus rims and tires, had to add a bushing to the inside wheel to fit the axle. PS…old toolmakers never stop using their tools ???
  19. Very cool build, history I didn’t know
