  1. Thanks guys, might be stealing some ideas from you guys. Gonna try the mud guards that Steve built (the half round fenders in front of the rear drive wheels). The more accurate I build the structure, the easier it is to finish.
  2. Jeff, I stated the size wrong it’s “G” scale, which is 1:22.5 model scale.
  3. I am not hampered by matching existing rivet spacing on a truck cab, which can be a challenge. I bought “0” scale which is close to 1:25 model scale 7/8 dia rivet. If you look at the sheets I bought, there are several spacing options on the sheet.
  4. Yes, Archer rivets. No, I got them of EBay. I had heard that Archer was not making them anymore, no clue if that’s true.
  5. Floor structure build, tomorrow, the rear door assembly
  6. Ceiling braces in, perimeter of the floor fitted, now cut 19 floor joists. Will have a wood plank floor and plywood on the walls.
  7. https://www.sourkrautsmodeltrucks.net/home he competes with STSupply
  8. The shell of the Morgan box is together, next, ceiling braces, then floor frame. got some finish work on the outside of the box. Rivets here Saturday, other parts (lights, door parts) arrive Friday.
  9. Don’t forget the air line and electrical hookups for your trailer. ?
  10. Great conversation here, taking notes.
  11. Got the front panel together, will need some finish work, but all the radius surfaces are now there. Seems weird to be building from the top down or up side down.
  12. Evert build just keeps getting better, well done
  13. Looking good, sometimes I have to primer several times, each time working out an issue then do it again.
  14. Getting started on fabrication of Morgan box. Built a fixture to divide a .500 tube into 4 radius parts for the front corners and roof. next to cut side/ front panels and roof panel.
  15. Oh, I am liking this build, crane looks really good.
  16. Very cool, fun to watch this come together.
  17. Haha haha, me too. The tool and die maker in me, took over. Not the first time I have totally lost it, but kinda excited to take on the challenge or I will have a really big piece of junk on the shelf. Going to make a fixture and try to split some round tubing for the 1/4 round corners. Rear doors are still undecided, barn doors or overhead door. Also just added a Dremel scroll saw to my workbench. Rivets will be here on the 18th.
