  1. Do you want to send it to me for scanning?
  2. Helps that I have 3D Scanners
  3. This is not as easy as it seems. But like I said I need a tester as my skills are not this good. There's also an engine cradle and front bumper
  4. I need a beta tester someone with good model customizing skills. I can provide either my conversion or a whole kit but we can work out those details.
  5. Available on my site TX3DCUSTOMS.com
  6. All right Scott is going to be doing the Olds 442 I'm looking for someone to ship me a kit so I can scan it to have reference values I'll pay the shipping if you need me to and I will return it and if if you want a front end conversion I'll include it for free after it's done
  7. That is the intent, understand that we both are doing this as a side gig, and with that said spending a lot of time with modeling and setup to sell 2 or 3 is not real smart, especially for Scott.
  8. I saw that but everywhere says out of stock is it still produced?
  9. So while I understand the frustration here this is not an in-production kit and very niche product that would be a lot of time spent for very limited sales.
  10. Being worked on now, should be an easy model, but time...
  11. I do not have your body, I assume you shipped to him as I did not scan anything for the first 3 designs, we decided that scans were the way we would do them from here on out. You will need to talk to Scott about your body. I will be the one that will be receiving the reference kits so if you post here and we decide to take the project I will contact whoever has the reference kit.
  12. Sorry but no, it's the fastest way to loosing any exclusivity for my business.
  13. Well I will tell you most of experience here has been good. Also I am not trying to be a jerk or anything, but my business is just a side hustle and Scott does the modeling in his down time as well. I find printing fun and I will own it, I do find the extra income useful in these trying times. Plus making new stuff is fun in itself.
  14. OldMopars and myself are teaming up to produce grills for cars and trucks. I am not saying we will do all requests but here is the procedure. Make a request for something to be made with reference pictures of what is desired. This has to be made for a readily available kit, which will need to be mailed to myself for scanning as we have found this is the most reliable way to ensure great fitment. The body needs to be primered in light grey to ensure scanning is very accurate, I will mail the body back at the expense of the provider unless a grill is purchased from me which if so I will send it back with the purchase free if charge.

  16. I am starting a thread for grill requests, but I will need a kit for scanning from here on out, not all the kit but the parts required for fitment, usually the body. Return shipping will be paid for with a purchase.
  17. I will say the good ones are not cheap. His runs ~$1000 plus tax mine is ~$2200 plus tax
  18. Oh you would have to order from my site ?, I am working on getting this done. It will be a bit though.
  19. I live in a house not a cottage, but all joking aside, I have an accessories off road pack. It hardly sells, common question is to just sell this but or that part. That doesn't make sense for me. To sell a single part is a lot of work for little to no profit. Once fees materials and shipping is done I am lucky to make a buck. Not to sound greedy but to put that work forward to not even buy a cup of Joe is a hard sell for me, pun intended, much less my wife who likes my attention.
  20. Either way would probably work for either, as it will require a small bit of chassis trimming anyways
  21. Well that's actually easier for me and more cost effective. What is everyone else's thoughts on this?
  22. Put an item on it, displays a structured light pattern the rotates object. Repeat a whole bunch of times reorient object repeat a bunch more times. You end up with a 3D model of the object.
  23. So if you want it would be helpful to see where the problem lies
