  1. I made it one of those eventually especially if I can find one to scan I don't like fans they're extremely hard to print I started doing them and then I realized it's just hideous break too easy and you can get them and photo edge that look just as good
  2. Well I am not saying that the one that Jays, it looks like his, is the same
  3. That is not my Hellcat, my Hellcat looks like this.
  4. Usually nothing is needed if they didn't do a good job cleaning then maybe an alcohol wash but even then it's just going to be the quality that suffers because any residue that was left behind will cure. It's never a bad idea to wipe it with alcohol if there's any oil or grease from your fingers it gets on it it'll remove it we get the best results when painting
  5. So as far as my photography skills and color balancing things it's not very good Not only that but they are shot under bright white LEDs but as far as widest snow I can only think of a few that are older pictures where I was using a much lighter resin that did not show the details as well and I've never went back and assembled those engines and we took the photos. But that's generally limited to the coyote engines and maybe the original Firepower Hemi.
  6. I mean it's possible do you already have a design or do you need one made
  7. I have all three generations of the Hemi, first two "Firepower" and "Elephant" come in stock all the way to drag variations and in between.
  8. I have a pretty good selection of off road tires and wheels, and have wheels designed for VW's that would translate well IMHO
  9. This is a really old thread I am not sure if that kit is still available.
  10. I don't think we are quite there yet, I could be wrong but Elon is working on it.
  11. New Variant on the Turbo Thrift, comes with both sets of carb toppers
  12. No but honestly I've already spent the money now to buy the clear filament and it's not like it's going to really hurt anything and it will be much more effective if it's a clear flame that has the lights you'll just have to make sure you paint everything else really well so the light doesn't shine through do you know going to do it do it right I guess
  13. Well it might be a minute I'm not going to get the clear filament for another week it is on back order and until I get that and the lights I'm not going to start trying to guess how to modify the model to make it work
  14. You can try that but it's not going to work out too well since it's not clear It's not going to show very well at all That's why I bought clear filament and I bought one set of lights then I'll take those lights and model it so it works where it's installed on the bottom side in pockets.
  15. Okay I just ordered a Fire kit from Evans, when I get it I will model it into the bottom and print it in clear filament. I am not sure if I will sell it with the kit or have you buy the kit separately. The whole thing will be clear so how good you are at painting will determine the end result.
  16. Well I mean except its opaque filament I guess I could print it in a translucent filament, the paint would hide the part its not supposed to shine through and I would need a said kit to model a cavity for it. It adds complexity to my system but its possible, of course there would be a premium.
  17. I mean you totally could do CAD without arms and legs I mean Stephen Hawkins can completely talk through a computer they got some complex software now that could let you use your eyes I guess if you had no eyes they could probably attach it to your chin or something but I guess if you had no chin no eyes no arms no legs You probably couldn't use a computer at all
  18. No I replaced it with a better version
  19. Wait a minute, so scratch building can not be learned, I mean sure if you don't have arms or legs, but CAD takes no natural ability? I agree that scratch building is something that has natural skill, but CAD is no different, I have seen all sorts of "designers" use CAD that makes me cringe. Seems a little belittling to right off 3D modeling so easily as something anyone can do as I can assure you that's not the case.
  20. You've been sitting on that engine a long time, I can't remember how long it's been since I discontinued that version
  21. Been a minute since I posted, but here's some new stuff.
  22. The existing W series are 1:25, but that is based on the donor chassis being 1:25 if the desired donor is 1:24 then that will be what its made in, but that makes possible complications that I will have to deal with. If the cab in that scale 1:24, while the two are very close the 1:25 W is pushing the boundaries of my large printer it may need to be printed on my Huge resin printer and the price will be different, not much but its a cost issue.
  23. So this is pretty classic looking, but no I don't sell them individually
  24. So that's just embarrassing shipping on supports doesn't really do much proper packing on the other hand that's a different story altogether I have shipped a lot of semi-kits and not a single one of them has been broken yet All depends on what material you're using looking at that resin and yeah that looks like a cheap standard stuff and then how you pack it It's pretty simple but for a seller just to tell you to glue it that's pretty lowdown sometimes things get broke and it is inevitable I've had people say I'll just glue it and I said are you sure I'll ship you a new one but as far as scale sometimes it's hard to do You need to have really good measurements but something like a brake booster Just go out to your car and measure one can at least get close
