  1. William Corning, did you know that many YouTube videos utilize vocalization software for narration? I would think not as technology seems to be a bit troubling for you. This is a boon to people from non-native English countries to create content to be consumed globally. I know the world of technology seems to bother you, but it is something you should be aware of, if only to not appear foolish. These communication tools are no more flaw-free as a human typing or speaking. Think how often you must have to retract a word and self-correct in a conversation with your dizzying intellect and knowledge of, from what I see here, literally every topic having to do with cars, or models, or life in general. What did you have for dinner?
  2. Hornby hasn't issued anyone else's kits (much less all plastic) in 1/8 either. I would imagine it will be a diecast pre-paint just like all of their previous releases. The mock up shown is not the Grip kit.
  3. I am not a native speaker of English, but "fore-taste" is a single word without a dash in the middle. From the Oxford dictionary. For someone so concerned with accuracy, this seems quite a funny oversight as is a car predicting a car from 9 years earlier. Proofreading applies to everyone ☺️ fore·taste /ˈfôrˌtāst/ noun 1.a sample or suggestion of something that lies ahead:"the freezing rain was a foretaste of winter"
  4. The Supre Spy Car is unrelated tool from DB4. I am both Aston Martin and James Bond fan and collect them all, they are not even the same size and share no parts other than the tyres. Wheels similar with modifications for tyre slasher but not same.
  5. Often you can say "early days motor" but this case is "first day motor." Very nice.
  6. Very nice. I expect not soon to see another blue interior with wood panels! Beautiful model from era past.
  7. I like very much the set of how it is so low. Very nice cruising car.
  8. This is very neat! I like the colours choices.
  9. The one at that particular Hobby Lobby was the one on the top. I am not even sure they US version was available at that time because many forums were griping about the kit not being in the USA. I did not bring it up because this is an automotive forum, but that store had Revell Germany Star Wars and aircraft kits as well. I believe it was the only automotive kit from Germany Revell.
  10. I may have a slightly different take than many here, but I see lots of things that make me wonder about the USA kit market. Going back through threads about the "new" AMT Nova wagon, I was struck by how many people said "I'll wait for the full detail kit to come out." I don't know how many did just that, but it illustrated to me that many USA builders expect a full engine. I also read several threads angry about engine inserts that could not display separately outside of the car. With this in mind, I have questions about many of the AMT/MPC kit choices so perhaps someone here could shed some light. In light of the information above, I wonder based on the previous poster what the long-term prospects for the also coming 2021 Ford Bronco are. It is apparently a no-engine mould, and of an SUV type vehicle. Once the vehicle gets updated/replaced in the "for real world size" will people still want those kits? I must do much of my research on places like Scalemates, but it seems that earlier Ford Bronco kits get reissued seldom. The 1979 version will be out for the first time since it was a new car kit, other than a spot run with a drag racer car included. Yet it is the Coronet making all the passion here. I think that speaks to the emotion of this subject. Talk about the 2021 Bronco has been less than any of the new moulded kits announced here. Also for people who have bickered about "new or old chassis" the 1990s version Roadrunners are available even here in Europe. For anyone that concerned, it would be easy to find those kits if they are better in some way on the chassis, I think. Would it not be better for the builder to have the choice to have that Coronet style instead of no choice? It seems simple to me.
  11. https://www.bankovia.com/retail/why-doesnt-hobby-lobby-use-barcodes/ These were German boxings for sure. I was surprised to see it, so I looked it over and it was the same flat-style box we see here in Europe, addresses for distributors in Europe etcetera. No plastic wrappings, just the round adhesive discs to seal it, etc. I did some research, and your theory on SKU numbers doesn't seem to apply to Hobby Lobby as they apparently (I didn't buy anything that day) do not use infrared scanners at the cashier station. I have included a link.
  12. When I last visited USA I stopped by a Hobby Lobby (I am assuming this is what "HL" being mentioned refers to) and they had the German boxed Land Rover 109. I don't believe they had anything else from Germany, and the box was such a different shape they put it on the lower shelf with the heavy trucks.
  13. We do not have those cars here where I live, but does it looks to anyone else that the body sill trim may be backwards? I may be mistaken merely compare to the package.
  14. That is quite past amazingly wonderful.
  15. Oh, chocolates are very nice. That is not all we eat however...haha
  16. I like the American cars.
  17. Very expesnive! We have no Hobby Lobby many % off sales for sure!
  18. Hellos from Zurich! I loves the models cars.
