Thanks. Was not the best kit. Think i filled in the axle hole in the oil pan. Had no specific plans until i painted it.

Thanks. I sure do miss my time in Ansbach Germany. The people, the beer, and the food.

Them darn drunken trees will get you ever time. I hit a drunken curb once way back when.

    AMTs 50 ford.

Thanks. I do get lucky every now and then.
  11. Folks have lost touch with memorial day. Just a reason to get drunk on a boat at a lake. No one taking time to think about why they have a day off. They do not even realize that from the begining of time someone has given up their life so others can march on. It is not about the last war,, or the war before that, or even the war before that. It is really about the lifes lost in each and every war from the start.
  12. That is just too cool. Pepsi over coke anyday. Never understood why pepsi has not done more for scale builders. Did you make pepsi decals? I have a few coke kits i always wanted to convert to pepsi.
  13. Looks good. Where did you get that trailer? Do not think i have seen it.
  14. Thanks for the welcome.
  15. I had a step brother and 1/2 brother. for a long time we small black and white tvs. After my mom and step dad got their GEDs things got better. It was about 74, i was 11 when they bought a house then went in the army in 81. But we too was rich with family, step dad came from a big family. Times where better back then. We ran the streets, rode bikes all over. Had cousins living near. Mom had her shows and dad had his shows.
  16. Not as ugly as the pacer. But the matador is like the ugly duckling it is now a swan. I would drive it with a wide grin on my face. If my daughter did not take it. Not ugly unique now. The hood is the coolest part to me. Probably not many survivors. Now i am jealous.
  17. That looks great. Love that color.
  18. Looks really good.
  19. Perry mason did have some cruisers.
  20. Lol. They do look hokey compared to shows today. Back my family was poor, i am not rich, we was lucky to have a 24 inch tv, we did get a color tv wooden floor model. Now we can watch on 75 in or bigger.
  21. Mannix had the serious rides. I think it was Barris who customized 2 or 3 of his cars. One was a model, not the one i wanted. I wanted his i think it was a dart convertible.
  22. I have been wanting that kit forever. One year in middle school shop class was to build a model. I built tom daniels outcast. A buddy built the matador. I thought it was the ugliest car. But the guy built it and it looked good. That one you are building is going to be cool as.... post them pics. Man you are lucky to find that funky ride. I am kind of jealous.

    Revell 60 impala

Thanks. I was born in 63 and the wife 68 so i do like building them. I graduated in 81 so not much to like then. ? be nice to go back in time and buy about 10 of them and some convertibles also. Imagine what a show room fresh 60 impala with less than 100 miles would be worth? It would have to break 100g. I would think.
