Bricklin was manufactured in Canada, in nearby to me Saint John, New Brunswick. However it was not only sold in Canada. I believe most ended up in USA. Photos I took of a 1975 Bricklin at 2008 Atlantic Nationals, Moncton, New Brunswick.

I just took these two photos of a 1937 Cord 812 at the Steele Wheels Motor Museum, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Friday Nov 22, 2024. It is a real Cord and not a replica or kit car.

I have this kit in my stash, purchased it last year at Micheals. I opened it up to check if I was missing and half of an engine block, but mine is complete. In some ways I was kind of hoping it was missing, to give me an excuse to pro street it with a big block Chevy and use the Jag IRS on one of my Revell hot rod kits...

Excellent work so far.

Despite your issues with bmf, I think you did a fantastic job. I would love to see you finish this beauty. Shaking is an issue I have with my photography, only cure is to shot with a fast shutter speed or when I can not, a steady tripod. At 70, my eyesight is not as sharp as it was when in my 30s. Keep at it Bob, you do marvelous work on whatever kit you tackle or tinkles your fantasy. Many cheers from Nova Scotia...

Coming along very nice...

Some of the chrome while assembly (most noticeable on the grille) rubbed away too easily and I had to brush paint it over with Testor's silver. Now there are so many better choices for silver/chrome paint and available as spray. As my age advances, I will never forget my love for model car building, photography/digital arts and hockey, although I stopped playing hockey at age 52, I still love to watch the sport.

At the time I also had the chance to purchase the diecast version of the 1953 Corvette, but being an owner of a actual C1 Corvette (1960), I thought I would rather prefer the plastic kit as after all Corvette bodies in real life are plastic (fiberglass). I have two Monogram 1/24 1953 Corvette plastic kits in my collection to be built. If I ever get the chance to purchase the plastic kit of this MGTC I will. I also built a 1/16 scale version of the MG-TC. I believe it was was from an UK model company that began with E, but at 70 years of age, my memory often fails me...

The heavy weight of the metal body was too much for the plastic front axle to support over 30+ years. I need to take thise car apart and rebuild.
