I have been very interested in the 1930s Luxury cars lately.
-
It is a quality kit also. It goes together very well.

Looks like one that was for sale down the road a few years ago. I remember that one. It was beutiful!

Thank you! They are beutiful cars! I have a few of the old Johan Cadillac V16s. And Monogram V16 Cadillac. And the monogram boat tail speedster and monogram cord.
-
I have the boat tail version to. I just have not built it yet.

I started this build at the end of February. I just finished it today. I fully detailed the Straight 8 engine with gofer plug wires. Fully detailed the interior and under carriage. Basically i detailed everything. Paint is rattle can Tamiya gloss Maroon with brush painted Testors gloss black for the body trim. The fenders i left the molded light brown i just polished them up. I used some left over rattle can model master textured fabric tan for the top, boot and spare tire wraps. And i used dark brown kens kustom fuzzi fur for the carpeting. And i scratchbuilt the edges of the door sill plates out of strip styrene. I chose the optional Packard stone guard grill and made some valve stems from scratch to. Also i scratchbuilt some floor mats from sheet styrene. Otherwise tight from the box. It represents a real one well i think.

Yes it did! It was cracked badly on drivers seat but otherwise good shape. Body was rusty and paint was all faded. Landau vinyl top was in decent shape. I found wire hubcaps at local junk yard off a fifth avenue. I drove it daily year round. But it was cool. Floated down the road.

Looks cool! And neat how you used the slant 6. I owned a Cordoba from 08 to 10 with slant 6 they are a tough durable engine.

Thank you for this! -
I like how you always put your cars on turn table and often put music to the display.

I love what you did with it Michelle! Awesome paint job. And i like the Cragar mag wheels. Good choice of interior color also. I am glad we did the trade! Beutiful Dodge?

I like the brown with maroon i think that will be nice. I do like that shade of green on a lot of 1970s land yachts but it fits those body styles well. Like Olds Deltas and Chevy Impala's. The kit is very nice! High quality. I paid 10$ for it 2 years ago at model car show in Warren MI. Great deal. -
