  1. Only one comment…..it’s too clean! Really nice build!
  2. Shop chaos!!! Both breaker boxes are to be replaced as well as the outside stuff.
  3. Just to keep you in the loop…. My basement auction is on hold for a bit! Major electrical issue at the house that will be resolved next week. The shop is a mess! Wylde Parnelle is finishing up some grilles and is sending me a package this weekend. Orders that I’m holding, will be filled! Please note that I take no funds unless I have a complete order to send out. Wylde will then wrap up the Pontiac air cleaner packages. More stuff coming, but a bit later. Runnin’ at Redline is also on hold as I have no place to work in my shop. I’m anxious to get my column projects back on track! That’s it for now! Stay tuned!!!
  4. My third engine arrived today! Carb’d 572 and 2 TKOs!
  5. I was reading this thread from the beginning! Lots of lost good stuff! A name popped up that was of interest… Ed Cervo! I’ve met him at model shows and I believe he was making a 1973 Manta Ray. I bought one. Tonight, I was in my shop and found it. I believe he was linked to Joel Rosen of Motion. I’ve spoken to Joel a number of times from my days at S&W and later when I built a model for a doctor that was a Motion clone. Joel helped me with my Vega by giving me off the shelf part numbers! Here is that Manta Ray!
  6. To be exact, the Formula 400 parts are made to fit the Revell T/A. The other parts are 1:24th but will fit 1:25th. I did an article on this in one of my columns.
  7. …just message me! I will have a few when they are ready! I still have a couple of #3, but they are in resin.
  8. Welcome to 2023! I’ve seen requests for my Aircleaner packages. Jeff Pierson, graciously sent me his master, again for the Formula 400 package. I’ve also remade one of the aircleaners as it was lost and not saved previously. All of these have been sent to Wylde Parnelle for resin 3D printing. They are scheduled for this month, if possible. This will be along with my GTO spoilers and corrected rear bumper. Not to mention a non-trim ring Chevy Rally II wheel for the Heavy Chevy, Formula 400 hood and nose and other goodies! If you forgot what the aircleaners look like…here they are!
  9. Sorry… ….but I did buy 3 engines and a couple of TKOs!
  10. I feel bad that I hijacked this Texas 3 D thread. However, I did order a big block for my logo car and will update you all in a separate thread. Where did I order this engine? Texas 3D. Least I could do! Lol! Stay tuned!
  11. Mike, I never did this wagon. It came from Ronnie at Southern Motorsports. I did fill in the tail lights and Wylde did make me surface mount lights.
  12. Restored 49 year old interior…
  13. Wylde made the split front bumper and grille. I made the hood. Norm Veber cast extras! Interior was restored from an original build with a few mods! Oh…the paint has been polished already.
  14. This is my column logo car…
  15. I sent for a couple of engines and I was quite impressed! I’ve had a stagnant Maverick project and a plan for a Ford F150. I may now be looking at a LSX for my logo Vega! I’ll be sure to write these up in my column! nice stuff!
  16. Thanks Mike! I believe in genuine people and Wylde is such a pleasure to work with and even tho we never met, I consider him a good friend! His word is gold!
  17. Wylde has been feverishly working on Chevy and GMC grilles. He is sending me a bunch for “youse” guys in the States! He’s currently doing the work on the GTO spoilers and the correct fit rear GTO bumper! Hoods, Aircleaner packages and other stuff will be forthcoming! I'm pretty stoked with all this stuff! This guy has passion! I like working with people that do what they say! Stay tuned! My plan is to let him carry the line. I’m not going to compete with him for the initial batch. The guy works hard to make these so why screw with a good thing. I will have a few items to share with the folks who helped me out! Hoods - January HeavY Chevy wheels without a trim ring - January
  18. WPVI ch 6 Philly, did a feature on him. I now recall the Chippendale reference!
  19. It was truly a priceless moment! …and I still have that plate!
  20. Funny story…he and I met a long time ago. I was on my way to a Corvette show. I had a ‘93 40th Coupe. He pulls up next to me asking if I was going to the show and I said yes. He said to look him up as he had something I had to have. I pulled in, parked the car and wandered. Inside I see a table of models. It was him. He was trying to sell me a Corvette model. He said….and this is the best part…that he made all the custom license plates on the models. I looked at him and asked, even this one? It read “VET DREM”. He said he did. I laughed out loud…. He looked puzzled. I told him to go out and look at my ‘93. It was my plate that I shot for my business at the time, Scale Vanities.
  21. RR’s scam with me was to immediately issue a mailing label. I watched on his site, him running out the PayPal complaint clock. I did file a claim prior to the run out time, documenting all the emails I sent him and even a link to the complaints on these forums and others. They did have him refund my full amount. I then received several very nasty voice messages from him.
  22. Lol! I had a personal deadline to meet!
