GTX was built in the ‘80’s and featured in Scale Auto. It’s held up quite well!

A friend printed me a dyno in PLA. I’ve had it for quite some time. It was an early attempt on his part. I’ve played with it for some time and finally decided to finish it. The rollers are heavy grade foil. The roll was accomplished by forming it over a brass tube and a rubber roller. I soft masked the tire areas and dusted on some flat black. The ramps have Plastruct Diamond plate on them. A wash of flat black was applied to show some dirt. The computer is a SEL piece that I put together for a Y2K BUG, when I was at FM. It’s been sitting in my shop since 2000. I promised John Dezan a dyno and my friend is having issues printing with his new resin printer. So as not to make John wait any longer, I decided to gift him with this one! Oh, the GTX is an old SAE article car….that is NOT included!

Joe, he is sending me some samples to look at. I’ve used him for a few special projects that I am very pleased with. I’ll be happy to share my thoughts when the items arrive! Wylde is an absolute pleasure to deal with!

N95 rating. 3M has one for around $20. Other brands around. Has to be N95 rated.

I placed an order on 5/28/21. Have not received product nor any delay notification. I just tried sending them a message thru their site and got an error message. I was away and wonder if I missed any issues they might be having. Thanks for any input. update: message finally went thru.

Black wash on the wheel, Molotow on the lugs, cap and valve stem. Black micro pen for the Chevy emblem. Can you say, “happy camper”?

These arrived about a week later after reading Downie’s post! Not completely detailed yet. But it gives you an idea. Wylde Parnelle, wyldeman@shaw.ca The gold is satin gold Monogram/Humbrol, airbrushed on. The trim ring is Duplicolor Chrome. I may dull the wheels a tad and then detail out the cap, logo, lugs and valve stem.

wyldeman@shaw.ca As for these being the same as Pinto wheels, no. Pinto, Bobcat and Mustang II, used a slimmer spoke. No bulge. These wheels were used on the Vega, Starfire, Sunbird, Skyhawk and Monza. Center caps changed and the higher end cars got chrome inserts in the openings.

Very, very well done! I was involved with GMP’s red tail series and airbase. Got to meet one of hero’s at Reading during WWII weekend.

OK... on John’s suggestion I ordered several sets of Vega GT wheels. I owned a ‘73. Let’s face it... there is nothing out there! Dealing with Wylde is a pleasure. I got tracking and product arrived quickly. I couldn’t wait to try out a set. I cleaned them with alcohol, no... not my beer! Primed and painted a set with Tamiya Gun Metal. I cut off a trim ring from a Nova wheel. I plan to send out the resin ri gs for plating! The wheel lugs and center cap are not detailed. I just wanted to get a “feel” for these puppies. Found a FM tire which is a bit large but so far, I’m quite impressed! So much so that I’ve already ordered the Cosworth wheels!

What John just said! Primer Sealer works.
