  1. Very clean and Sharp and a great job on the rear day cab panel and the visor over the rear window nice touch and the stainless cab visor ? I believe your friend will be greatly pleased. Nice Job
  2. After disassembling cleaning up the frame rails relocating the bottom arms of the lift and going back to paint I think that I will be almost ready to reassemble and get a little closer to finish this build
  3. Time to take a breather should have done a little better research I installed the lift backwards had to deconstruct time to take a breath
  4. Man that is cool and don’t be too jealous all the 1/24 I have purchased the slide plates are one piece with the fifth wheel is slid all the way back but the fifth wheel moves. Great job now you have planted ideas in my brain and by the way what you are doing with the 1/32 is pretty impressive
  5. Revell always a problem child warped frame rails cab and bunk when first mounted looked like they were traveling up hill and maybe it was something I did but the hinge mount’s for the hood didn’t match up and this paint job just gave me fits (stripped it twice)
  6. Finally mounted the lift and finished prepping the fenders
  7. Carrier bearing and drive shaft ?
  8. I have a new respect for some one that can do a whole build in a week it takes me a couple hours to do one task
  9. Relocated air tanks inside of frame, sectioned the fuel tank to make room for the battery box and removed the deck plate’s and pogo stick to make room for a hydraulic tank and lines
  10. Well I finished the lift steer axle now to see if I can modify and install without wrecking this FLD build
  11. I am not much of a decal guy but if you are keeping it simple I am all about masking and painting my own stripes lacquer paints seem to work better for me
  12. When I saw the first picture I thought it was a picture of something you were going to build all I can say is that is one freaking awesome build
  13. 3’ x 8’ had to narrow it down a foot so I could get it up the stairs
  14. Well as you can see it is not yellow this was my second frame stretch the FLC was my third (3”, 6 foot in scale) I done a little rework to the bunk I have a thing for flat tops I do not know if Mack ever done a flat top double sleeper I done a lot of looking and could not find one I also added storage boxes on each side also giving steps up to the back and a extended visor from auslowe and covered it in stainless duct tape, metal etched Superliner emblems and bull dogs on the mirrors and a bull dog hood ornament from an R model Mack because the Superliner kits no Mack emblems, 3D printed rear fenders
  15. Going to try my hand at building a steer lift axle for a 1/24 scale build still trying to decide what truck to do
  16. AMT K100 kits notorious for off size bumper and I would almost gamble that they used the same molds for the Tyrone Malone trucks
  17. Very Very Nice build very clean love the subtle modifications especially the 2 hole steel rear rims
  18. Yea I was not impressed with this particular revell series either but I picked up a resin chopped top cab at model car show and with some cutting and a lot of modifications I came up with a frankin truck and by looking at your truck I can see that I done my rear tires wrong on the wheels by the way good job nice build and you taught the old dawg a new trick
  19. Box truck build stretched the frame 1 1/2” and lengthened the rear frame rails 2” used the bunk from the Alaskan kit and l.e.d. lights in cab and bunk and a few other modifications
  20. So does the trucks with the third tag axle in front of the tandems with the singles operate on the same principle as the tandem tag axle
