  1. First off a good cut helps a lot my first shot at a custom cab I used a exacto knife it didn’t turn out so well then I discovered the saws a good clean cut a light even coat of glue put your halves together I don’t try to wipe off are smooth out excess glue I let it dry for 24 hours then sand it down and then I use the Vallejo plastic putty to fill in the light spots
  2. Well the domino effect begins (Murphy’s Law)
  3. I have a lot of work to do to smooth this up. Trying to keep this a low budget build
  4. Man now that is a HOT ? looking rig really like the mod’s and the colors fantastic I could see myself driving that
  5. Finally finished and a big thanks to Trucker Al helping me out with parts
  6. I think I might have made it a little more difficult then it had to be because I just didn’t like how the cab and bunk was turning out
  7. Still have some final detailing to do to be complete
  8. Still a few little things to
  9. I am in I think I could come up with something in that time frame buy the way never been in a group build how does it work just pick a truck from the theme and build it
  10. Really not a lot of modifications besides the bunk (left over from the Freightliner FLC build) and the seat’s from a Jeep Rubicon
  11. I’m really liking these ideas thinking out of the box
  12. That’s a Pretty cool idea
  13. SUPER COOL ? really like the stacks and elbows and not to mention the bunk and the paint
  14. Really like the modifications way to turn it into head turner look’s great (I do like the horns on these kits)
  15. When does the madness end I just ordered front fender flares to go with the wider front wheels and I wasn’t even going to build this kit now it’s becoming one of my favorite’s
  16. Very cool like the motor swap my dad had a “67” with a 318 and swapped it with a crate 350 Cummins witch they told him it couldn’t be done wouldn’t fit needless to say installed with a 13 speed tranny changed the radiator added a fiberglass fan changed rear end gears this was the early “70’s” it was a 95 mph truck. Love the build it brings back good memories
  17. I had not seen a autocar on the road in years and seen a grain hauler (old farmer) come through the plant with one last year was coolest thing I had seen in a long time it was pretty used you could say, welded up diamond plate front fenders, heavy daytons, and plenty of rust. I must say I really like your build
