Well I think that I am finished I am sure that I will probably tweak some little things that I see in the pictures for an amateur builder I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. I would like to thank everyone for sharing how too’s ,tips, and coaching me along I hope that I haven’t disappointed

Fantastic fix great ingenuity

Getting a little closer to the finish line

Well I have to be totally honest I muffed up the last paint job trying to fix my mistakes and used air quality as a excuse. But the redo led to a couple improvement’s the mirrors and vents the vents I was actually going to leave plain l tried the filling in with marker suggestion but didn’t like the way it looked and then a friend gave me a couple of other ideas witch turned out really realistic so hopefully I don’t Muff it up this time around

I would have to say, not just another plain white box. They both look fantastic ?

Still not perfect but but it will have to do

Ready to try it again I did swap out the stake side mirrors for a set of Louisville Hauler mirrors from the salvage boxes I think that they are actually a better fit for this build now to give it a good day to dry then wet sand then paint

I tried correcting my mistakes by trying to buff them out it’s one of those I can see it things and it bothers me (pictures just don’t show it)

Oh I think that you have plenty of knowledge I have followed yours and many other members builds and if I can do half as good as you guys do and if anything it makes me want to strive to do better and if it wasn’t for The Godfather’s of fire trucks Greg & Charles I don’t believe that I would have made it this far

Well been playing around with the cab and a couple of the hose lays not happy with the cab it turned out a lighter shade of red than the bed going to strip it and respray it I am going to chalk it up to bad air quality

I really like the shirt and tie behind the wheel my how times have changed now they wear tank tops, shorts, and crocks

Really like the paint and the plates to put the IFTA stickers on nice detail

I thought that purple bottle looked familiar I can’t believe I had the solution to stripping chrome all along a new tool in the arsenal Image That Thanks for the Tip
