I also tend to go to extremes when I get into things so here are some pictures of my 69 Chevy Chevelle & 72 Impala hard body hobby stocks and my 1967 Porsche 910(Lexan body witch I purchased and painted)on a original 1968 Classic Industries Viper swing arm chassis with original Classic Industries 36D motor vintage racer

I was cleaning out the basement a few years back and ran across the sparking hot rod track that I bought for my son when he was twelve later on I cleaned and set it up it brought back good memories so I told my wife I wanted a track for Christmas well I wanted one we could all race on granted my son was 33 when I built this but it is still a heck of a lot of fun

As in my introduction the AMT Peterbilt was my first build in 45 years my second was the Italeri Pete 378 I believe everything I do is a W I P because I am always seeing something and thinking ? I would like to try that so over the last 3 years I have accessorized and touched up and I still have a few things that I would like to change

I actually came across your build when I was doing my research before I started my build I was very impressed with paint scheme -
I stopped building models when I was 13 my cousin had gotten back into building and finally talked me into getting back into it so 45 years later I built the AMT Peterbilt 378 and I was bit by the model bug and in 4 years 12 builds later the enjoyment is still there the only thing different is the $$$$$$ l am really glad that I came across this forum because I really enjoy seeing what other builders are doing and learning new tips and tricks

Actually I have came up with a process of laying out a piece of wax paper and laying masking tape on both sides and cutting out my bigger stripes giving you equal left & right side stripes and using a roll of 1/16” masking tape for the pinstripes -
I finished this build a few months ago it has been stretched 3” witch is 6’ in scale making this truck 32 feet in scale length the head lights have been shaved and filled and metal etched grill and emblems and old school headlights added to give it that 80’s era look also added a double sleeper along with a few other extras that did not come with this kit the color is emerald green metallic the stripes are pearl white pinstriped in gold(paint rattle can Testors)

I wasn’t sure about the color choice I was just trying to use up some of the rattle cans that I had left over and prayed that the strips didn’t bleed -
