It looks good so far are you looking at it as a master for somebody to cast in resin?
-
BTW I am doing a Hang Ten (75) right now with Keith Mark's decals. I will post pictures as I get closer to finishing it. Here is a link to his 73-74 Dart decals that are correct, I think he just released them http://public.fotki.com/mofobow/dodge/dart/7374-dart-sport-sid/

I am in as I started the topic. I know I don't have the ability to master one.

It would be a good addition as the 75 Darts are pretty plentiful after the rerelease.

Has anyone ever done a resin grill to convert the 75 Dart/Duster kit to a 73-74 dodge Dart Sport? Keith Mark's just came out with proper decals to do a 73-74 Dodge Dart Sport but the grill is different on the 75-76's. Thanks Oh here is a link to the a picture of a 74 Grill http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3598/3379564517_a473e36489.jpg%3Fv%3D0&imgrefurl=http://flickr.com/photos/34107011%40N08/3379564517/&usg=__XqFw2Uap2MYmOy6r1Bi_yqXjUp0=&h=333&w=500&sz=123&hl=en&start=99&um=1&tbnid=znuIg7AeFXDihM:&tbnh=87&tbnw=130&prev=/images%3Fq%3D1974%2Bdodge%2BDart%2BSport%26ndsp%3D21%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26start%3D84%26um%3D1 Thanks

Thanks for the donation of the Comet for all of us.

My experience is Modelhaus, Motor City Resin Casters, and Missing Link are great at communication , quality of product and not over promissing. Reliable Resin is slow but he does get the product to you and it is good quality.

Here is a link to one that just recently sold on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Johan-1971-Mercury-Com...=item35a4e5ad9c

Kevin with the projects in front of me I can wait for you to cast the whole kit. I think I can use bucket seats from a Mustang/Cyclone kit etc to make the Comet into a GT. I ordered the 71-72 GT decals from Keith Marks. So looking forward to it. Just let me and all of us know how you are progressing.

I know one just sold on Ebay last week for 152.00! Wow.

Kevin I sent you a PM, Thanks for the info on Perry's resin I think he is back and catching up?

I know Keith Marks makes decals for the Johan kit to make a 71-74 Mercury Comet GT. Does anyone make a stock interior and stock hood for the Johan Pro Stock Kit? I don't think Johan ever made a stock Mercury Comet? Thanks

Thanks everyone. Dave I will send some PM out.

I looked he may be off of Ebay now. Thanks for the info. I will keep digging.

I want to build a 72 Heavy Chevy and I know Keith Mark's makes the decals. Does anyone make a more correct headlight grill (resin) for the AMT kit. I think there was a company a few years ago that made them. Thanks

I just finished a conversion of the AMT 66 Mustang hardtop kit with the Missing Link resin fastback GT. I painted the car using the MCW Ivy Green without Clear. The paint came out perfect with a little rubbing actually my photo taking ability sucks the paint looks much better than the photos show. I didn't use clear as I wanted the paint to be more in line with 60's paint deth. I was impressed with Kevin's service at Missing Link and the quality of the parts etc. I also used Keith Mark's decals for the side stripes etc. It was a nice easy build without too much detail. Here is a link to the photos http://public.fotki.com/drodg/1966-mustang-/

Two questions how long do you think I should leave it in hot water? Also how hot, just normal tap water hot? I am using MCW paint laquer and it dries pretty quick. Thanks again

I have Shawn Carpenter's 1962 Grand Prix conversion and I am going to start working on it later this month. My question is as I am looking at the body from the rear and notice the body is a little off , unbalanced or slightly warped. What is the best way to straighten it out. I was wondering if leaving it in hot water for awhile then working with it my work? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

That looks great and the last few weeks I forgot to check Ebay and missed it! Thanks for everyones input.

I have one of Shawn Carpenter's convertibles 2+2 and like the 62 Grand prix it is beautiful. I would like to do a hardtop and I tried to order 10 years ago a 2+2 from All American Models but he never filled the order. The 66 MCW car is the wrong roof line as it is a sedan. Thanks for everyones input.

Has anyone made a or currently produce a correct length 1965 Pontiac 2+2 hardtop in resin? I know the AMT kit is based on the Bonneville and the Bonneville is 7" longer 1:1 overall length than a Catalina.

I just received from Motor City Resin a 1969 Ford Torino formal top/ Cobra. The casing is beautiful and it looks as crisp as the plastic fastback from AMT that is a donor kit. Jeff's commnication level was great and I got the body in a timely manner. I know we have all had not so good experiences from resin casters so I thought I would throw in a compliment and recommendation when it is due. Jeff thanks again.

Thanks Jeff.
