You know to get more accurate wheels like that came standard on the 80 Roadrunner you could use the wheels off of the AMT Ford Courier step side pickup. The wheels that were standard that year had color inserts the same as the Road Runner decals. So with the new decal sheet you would probably want to use red as an offset color.

I think the wheels were a one year only because they weren't offered in 79 and Chrysler quit making the Volare after 1980. I looked today and there are a few MPC or AMT 4X4 kits that you could make the wheels work from. The 80 white Road Runner in that picture looks nice and clean. I do hope the kit is offered with a couple different Road Runner color decals.

It does say Roadrunner Markings on the decal sheet. I don't think the orginal decals had Roadrunner markings. Now if we can just come up with correct 1980 Volare wheels.
