  1. I would assume MPC/AMT are not going to do decals that would be correct for an 80 Roadrunner. It would be nice if Keith Marks might put them together. I checked on his sight and it doesn't look like he is planning on it.
  2. I did think of doing the CB750 instruments exactly as Bob said. Thanks
  3. Thanks everyone
  4. I like the car it is a pretty clean straight build. I wish somebody would do a realistic looking grill for the car. I hate the grill.
  5. The one question I had was how to make the gauges look correct since there are no decals for the speedo and tach. I did try to start using some of the tubing for the spark plug wires and they seemed less than easy to work with. I kind of quit at that point or should I say put off for another day.
  6. One more
  7. This is my almost finished AMT 68 Roadrunner. I need to foil the door handles. I used MCW paint for the green and I used Keith Mark's decals for the rear panel. Nice build & it goes together pretty easily. I used the cell phone so the quality of the pictures not the best. Thanks
  8. Grill looks good and the taillight area looks good. Those are difficult to get right.
  9. Well I bought it and I started on it but kind of lost interest in it. I kind of got overwhelmed with how much chrome had to be removed or dealt with and so I kind of thought I will build it on another day. It actually is a nice looking kit when done, I saw a picture on Google images. It is old technology but I think when done it can be a nice looking kit. I built part of the engine and assembled the wheels and then stopped. The wheels were kind of a struggle for me to get to go together correctly. It may have been my inexperience at building bike kits though. I must say I think it is well worth 35.00 to 40.00 dollars. I just think I wanted to get back to finishing my 68 Roadrunner and work on my too many car kits I have in my storage room. Anyhow I hope that helps. I don't think I got far enough on it to do a fair review.
  10. I haven't seen too many of the 69 Judge kits converted to the 68 GTO version. Anyhow very good job.
  11. Oh my goodness that is a work of art already.
  12. I love it.
  13. You are correct. The blue lines tires were last used in 66 by Chrysler and in 67 they went to redlines.
  14. What about Harts Parts 72 Charger Hood that is flat? I would think that with some adjustment would fit the AMT Charger?
  15. I don't think Missing Link still makes the hood. Thanks looking forward to this build.
  16. Nice looking. I do love the looks of the 72 Vette and you are doing a good job. Don't you hate when you have to redo something on a kit? I hate it when I have to re-glue a suspension piece let alone redoing a paint job.

    Mercedes 300SL

    That is one beautiful model
  18. No problem and it looks very nice.
  19. Looks good. I think I would spend some time coloring the side markers and I think a set of license plate decals would be a good addition. I would like to see another shot of the grill. Great job.
  20. I will be interested in watching this build. I have been wanting to build a 72 with Missing Link's conversion for a few years. I want a non bulge hood but not sure where you find one for the 71 kit. I think your Charger is a Topper Pkg?
