  1. MCW Finishes https://mcwfinishes.com/shop/ols/products/7051-plum-crazy-met I recently ordered from them, great products, competitive pricing, FAST service and order shipping https://mcwfinishes.com/
  2. I've been using this for many years and have hundreds of vanity plates saved in my "Pictures" file. To do this, generate your desired license plate, right click on the plate you've just created and open the image in a new tab, right click on that image and left click "Save Image As", add your image title and save it to your pictures file. https://www.acme.com/licensemaker/
  3. I think this kit has the only '57 Chevy 150 body that Revell (or model kit manufacturer, for that matter) has ever produced. I really wish Revell would re-release the '57 Chevy Black Widow kit so I could use the bodies for Drag Racing based builds, as well as building the NASCAR Black Widow...
  4. Craig, Are these available in the U.S. or do they ship from Australia?
  5. Bitchen builds and a GREAT collection and display, Bob! Wouldn't it be amazing if Atlantis had the original tooling for these kits as well as the Boss A Bone and re-released them?
  6. Trying to correct some of a kit's shortcomings can be a real challenge! Stick with it, be successful, and feel the satisfaction when you've completed it to your satisfaction. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I'm sure it will be BITCHEN!...
  7. Bitchen color combination and flame job. The titanium and blue interior is especially tasty. Can't wait to see your Deuce Coupe completed!
  8. Scalemates shows the Outcast Monogram '57 Chevy Funny Car to be a 1973 new tooling and the Tom McEwan Revell '57 Chevy Funny Car to be a 1989 new tooling. Looking at the box art, the Revell Tom McEwan car is much more modern than the Monogram Tom Daniel designed car.
  9. Sweet idea! I can't wait to admire your finished model!...
  10. Welcome to the community, Andrew, it is good to have you with us. Please feel free to post some WIPs so we can follow your progress...
  11. SWEET Super Stock builds, bitchen display. Good lookin' stuff!
  12. Received TRJ #86 in SoCal on Tuesday, Sept. 11. Still waiting for #83, the issue featuring the Uncertain T, but received # 84 and 85 "on time".
  13. Once again, BEAUTIFUL FORDS! The blue and silver '71 Mustang Mach I gave me inspiration. You see, I received a '71 Mach I kit from HL instead of a '67 Fastback kit because I didn't notice their "Style/Color: Assorted - You May Not Receive What Is Pictured" alert when I place my order. This kit will now be built to depict the Mach I you posted. Thank you!
  14. Bitchen Pontiac build, BTW. Too bad SMP Decals is no more...
  15. The wheels, Hurst Mags, are also available in the AMT "Spokes N Stripes" Wheels & Tires Pack https://www.round2corp.com/product/amt-spokes-stripes-wheel-tire-pack-125-scale/
  16. Bitchen build with a great back story. love it!
  17. Welcome to the community, William. Good lookin' Trans Am. Please show us more of your builds.
  18. Bitchen Mustang, Hugh. Nice looking color combination.
  19. I guess it is time to go see if my local HLs have new kits on their shelves. Their online catalog hasn't changed in months, and then you have to be sure the kit(s) that you intend to order aren't in their "Assorted - You May Not Receive What Is Pictured" category. But when it's all good, you can't beat 40% discount and free shipping!...
  20. Amazing job! The red and black really pops on this car...
  21. Bitchen build, amazing color combo...
  22. You just got my creative juices flowing!... I'm going to kit bash the Hilborn Injected Buick Nailhead engine from the '30 Coupe for one of my future '32 Tudor Sedan builds. Might as well put the Flathead in the '30 Coupe...
  23. Another category where the instructions are kinda wacky pertains to the radiators. The instructions call out radiator part # 49 for the Highboy and # 417 for the "Sedan" that I've been referring to as the Full Fendered version. Actually, the radiators are specific to the engine being used, and not the Highboy or Full Fendered "Sedan" body style. Radiator part # 49 fits the Flathead engine, which has 2 upper and 2 lower radiator hoses. Radiator part # 417 fits the Windsor engine, which has 1 upper and 1 lower radiator hose. The radiator shell and electric fan are the same for both versions.
