  1. Beautiful car. I’m not familiar with this kit was the fuel fill tube part of the kit or did you add that. It’s a nice detail if you added that yourself.
  2. Nice build of an iconic kit. I actually saw one of them at a car show years ago.
  3. Another fan of hecklefish I see ?
  4. then thee was the time I got kicked out of Ikea.... I asked the girl for a one night stand
  5. Awesome job. Not at all what I was expecting. The paint job was a nice touch. And I like how you opened up the hood.
  6. A few of my favorites
  7. That’s a sharp looking mustang. Great job !!!
  8. Because I may not be the only person to look at what I build. I’m also not too fond of the “good enough” mindset. And finally I like to improve my skills as time goes on. If I don’t identify the areas that need improvement how can I possibly hope to be a better builder. I have no desire to enter contests or compete against others. I do this for myself.
  9. I guess this would be my rarest kit in my collection. The box has seen better days but the parts are complete and the decals look to be in good shape. I’m saving this one until I improve my skills to do it justice.
  10. One thing I’m learning is the best way to find flaws, mistakes, and areas I need to improve on is taking pictures and then viewing them on my computer. Especially since I’m older and my eyesight isn’t that great I’ve found that pictures will show everything. Pictures will show uneven paint lines, dust in paint jobs that you think are great may need improvement. Pictures will show flaws in chrome plating. Excessive glue squeeze out on parts being joined will jump right out at you. Today’s cameras capture details that can escape normal eyesight even with my glasses. Using an optivisor is also an excellent way to find room for improvement. Maybe this will help someone like myself.
  11. Want to say hello. I look forward to learning how much this hobby has changed since the 60’s. I guess my days of using sewing thread for plug wires is over. I’m blown away at the level of detail you guys and gals are putting into your models.
