They have came up looking really nice for the scale. Decals scare me. -
My cousin owned a two door hq coupe with a 327 stroked to 302 chev and it was mad... single dominator not like yours with Hilborn injection. Yours looks good and sits well on the springs. Keep it up Brock

All New Meng 1/12 1988 McLaren MP4/4
Holdon Coupe replied to Justin Porter's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I got mine yesterday $350.00au and am very impressed so far. At this stage I have only needed to lightly glue the rocker covers. I could have done something about the mould lines but my eyes are not that good so why bother.. One days work. Compared to the Tamiya 1/ 12 Tyrrell 003 1971 Monaco GP which I got angry with after breaking a few parts and battling with the main canopy finish which had a texture rougher than my granny's ass, I threw it in the bin. -

As a newbie amateur what can I add? Good work on a small scale -
I will update when I get a chance. Thanks for looking..

Good work with the foil I'm yet to try it and the Interior looks good as well as the paint work..
-
Thanks Garry. My old man owned one many year ago. They would sell like hotcakes I recon.

ah BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH the rake..

Due to lack of undercarriage detail this would have to be the easiest model lower with big boots. No need to custom build inner guards or narrow the diff and springs. The boot assembly is separate with its own inner guards.. I hope this helps Resin rims and tires are from ebay 1/25
-
Apart from lacking detail they go together really good. I used mostly revell contacta professional glue.

Nicely done and Looking good so far. I did build that back in the early 80s I have always liked american muscle cars, most of us Holden fans in australia fit chevs in our cars.
-
Looking good so far. Today I tried Toothpaste for a cutting compound and it worked a treat.
-
super job on the Interior you must have a steady hand

I need a bonnet for my Black blown big bock. The kits go together really good and the molds are fantastic. My only complaint is that the Supercharged kit does not come with a bonnet Here are some random images of my build. Silver base coat with clear blue mixed and thinned with tamiya clear, Some parts have been cut and polished. I need a Bonnet...

Gday Stephen. My scariest rides was in a 265 Charger. If we had of kept our original cars we would be set for life. My farther swapped me his 253 hq coupe for my eh. The forum is ok for sure. Cheers All...
