Brian yup it fit fine,,,I just shaved off the molded in cover/bolts on the Allison ,, I could have used the bigger 2 stage pump too but the orientation of the ports would put the hyd hoses/fittings into the frame ,,I'll use that one on a truck mounted knuckle boom crane I have on my to-do list

yeah you can say that again,,,,I got some coming from Paul at ST when he gets them in ,,,comes with the orange airline

I use CTM zip ties ,,,the new CTM brake valve set was just released ,might not be available yet.Yes the air dryer is from CTM also . There are a lot of vendors out there that carry CTM's stuff,,you have to shop around

If your referring to the above pics with the orange air lines those came from the CTM website advertising their new air brake valve detailing set

.............that's like a Freightliner ,,,, all the wiring is white and the air lines are yellow ,,,,lol

I just got an email from CTM with the new brake valve kit they came out with,,,,hey I just throw a few here and there but >> HOLY CHIT!

Did a little more today,after a few hours at work,,had to take a Paramedic truck to University Hospital in Newark,,,,,,,,,,rigged up some CAC piping and hoses,,,started to put CTM hose clamps on ,,,like threading a needle! Rad hoses on too,,,,ran harness from alt and ECM ,,a couple more decals ,,,made the "FLEET SERVICES" on inkjet decal paper and put those on ,,,needs some more Micro Sol and then I'll hit it with clear. Laid the boom on the deck for ya

yep....the building was always immaculate with a big bulldog sign out front,,,,,,,,,,,and the Mack dealer we always got our stuff from,Glashofer Mack on Rt1 in Edison is long gone too,,,they had a huge Mack Truck logo with the bulldog on a billboard on their roof ,,,,that was torn down and the Cambria Company took the dealership and moved to another part of town along with selling Volvos Cambria Truck Center - With Locations in Edison & Elizabeth, NJ - Truck Dealership with Parts, Service and Financing

That spray paint came from the old Mack Parts Distribution Center in Somerset (Bridgewater ) N.J. 5 minutes from my house,,,,,sadly is no more demolished years ago

.......ohh and I nailed the engine in,,,,going to be a real trick coming up with the charge air cooler tubes and hoses....forgot to take a pic,,,tomorrow

...........and when I got back I assembled the boom..made brass cylinder pins instead of plastic,ran hyd. lines,,,they have to get zip tied yet ,, made the Allison shift pad out of scrap styrene and some decals,,,starting decaling the body

Worked a couple hours today,,returned 1117 back to the Queens shop ,,looks like they got a new GM today,,was all spiffed up and it looks like the 2015 ambulances are coming out of service and headed to auction,,,they just take black paint with a roller and paint over the graphics,,,,every time I come there's a few in the dead line

Replacing those camelback springs is something you only want to do once !

Thanks Dom ,,the wheel opening fender "rubbers" will get painted black after decals and clear coat

I might see if I can make a decal 1st ,,if I can find a good pic on the web

I just have to make a small Allison shift panel to the right of the steering on the dash

I forget where I got those Brian,,got a whole sheet of various caution/danger/warning/misc truck decals,,,coulda been an Ebay find

Some work today.....assembled hyd feeder tubes to boom sections ,shot with another coat of red,,,in the dehydrator now,, painted Brians console and installed,,also painted up the pto and pump .....some more interior details,,thats almost done . Depending upon work schedule next week going for engine install and maybe some decal work on the body

Shot the bed ,under reach and associated pieces .What I'm going to do is run hydraulic telescoping feeder tubes to the boom 2nd stage for the under reach ,,using K&S aluminum tubing,running hoses to them and the under reach ,I'll mount them under the winch cable guide bars on top of the 1st (main) stage ,,,just winging it here. Put the rear wheels together with the brake drums . Might start doodling with a light bar mount out of brass rod or something and hit that with Revell chrome once the bed dries,,should have done that before paint but I got ahead of myself
